I purchased a new refrigerator with Automatic ICE Cube maker. When it came I noticed that there wasn't a shutoff valve on the water supply. I have finished ceilings in the basement and I had to turn the whole house OFF to install the water line to the new unit. I looked around the local hardware stores and the cost of a 1/4" inline water valve was more than the cost of this whole kit. I used the cutter supplied in the kit to cut the line and inserted the supplied valve inline. Very Easy process. Turned the water back on and watched the new connection for 1/2 hour for leaks before I pushed the refrig back into position.

My GF has ordered a new refrigerator with double ice maker. She needed a water line to be installed. This item comes with a huge amount of TOUGH Pex tubing and just about every fitting and valve you might possible need for the job. It even includes a tubing cutter (as Pex must be cut square for these fittings). The fittings are easy to use as they are what is commonly known as "SharkTooth" fittings. To connect, you simply push the tubing into the fitting firmly and it become water tight. Every conceivable connector is included from elbows, splitters, straight through and even two ball valves, one a straight through and the other an angled valve. I believe that this represents a super value.

I needed a longer line and thought this would be a get solution. The connectors aren’t the best. I bought better quality ones at hardware store.

Installation was a breeze and haven't a leak yet! Great value for the money.

Better than the hose with compression ferule and alot easier to use, would buy again

I haven’t used the entire kit, but what I have used works well enough.
