Goats Milk - 2 Lbs Melt & Pour Soap Base - South Beach Crafts

I think sometimes people don't take the time to learn about what they are ordering. This soap is not made with lye or many other ingredients that some folks don't like to use. The fact that it has no lye means that it is not going to be as sudsy as name branded ones most folks use. The ad states that clearly so no one should discount stars because of it, the ad couldn't be clearer. I found that this soap melted smooth and yes, it had dented corners...that does not make it 'damaged', it's crafting soap...you melt it into molds so dented corners mean nothing.

This isn’t bad for a beginner soap maker. I never worked with melt and pour before but I have been making cold process for almost ten years now. I will tell you that if you overhear it, it will form a glycerin “crystallized” texture on top. It can be easy to wipe off but it was a little surpassingly and inconvenient.

Great purchase, but packing could have been better. It came in a small bubnle envelope and all 4 sides of the soap were dented and opened. But still meltable and useable. :)

The product is good and reliable, it melts well when you put it in the microwave and it is good for beginners. The only reason I gave it a 4 star is that it is a big pricey, and 2 pounds goes very fast..

I started making my own soap, and I prefer the goat milk base. It’s easy to melt, easy to work with, sets up nicely. Not as sudsy as I’d like, but I think that’s just the goats milk. Not bad over all. Good for first time soap makers like myself.

I love this soap base! It’s easy to use and it makes your hands really soft. I gave some to a friend to use, and she said it is making her eczema go away.

I liked how easy it was to use n make the soap....i jave not yet used it on my body so i cant say how it feels....but the smell is great.

I would not recommend this base if you live in a humid climate, high glycerine content makes it sweat a lot!In my case, it set me back as I was getting my products ready for a show and had to re-do a whole batch :(

Overall great product! No complaints :) keep being awesome.
