it works the same as the motherboard heatsink, difference is that you might have to pry some force to disconnect it, if you go to the crucial website there's plenty of articles on how to do it

Can this be used for ps5?

It can be used for PS5 but since the T700 is gen5 you're not gonna see an increase in performance compared to any other gen4 m.2, as the PS5 is gen4
