The Ruthless Note: Dark High School Bully Romance (Redwood Kings)

so fantastic. has dark romance, good plot and many plot twists. i can’t wait to read the next book in the series.

A twist I nvr saw coming and I can't wait to jump head first into book three. I honestly hope it's the last one I can't deal with these massive cliff hangers. The book is amazing, story line , plot , twist and turns. I can't wait to find out how these two work out good or bad at this point

*Warning: slight spoilers about secondary characters at the end of my review* The second installment in this series is just as great as the first. The author knows how to build suspense and drop little hints, usually by way of Jinx, to keep the story moving and the reader invested. I need to know Cadey’s full story as well as Dutch’s! Waiting for the finale will be excruciating, but I know it will be worth the wait. (Please don’t make us wait too long!) I’m assuming we will get the stories on Dutch’s brothers as well as Sol. I sniff a little spark between Sol & Serena. I hope I’m right and their story is next! And Zane and Miss Jamison? I’m not usually interested in a teacher/student trope, but I’m willing to try it. Most intriguing is the crush Finn has on Jinx, the resident gossip girl. When will he find out who she is? I’m so happy to add this author to my favorites!

I coached myself through book 1 and had to force myself to complete book 2. I feel as though all of these books are unnecessary for just Dutch & Cadence’s story. They’re needlessly prolonging the inevitable. The constant physical descriptions of the same people took up so much space, and made the reading feel redundant. If the writing was streamlined, it would make this a great read. I’ll opt for getting spoilers on the remaining books to find out what happens to the rest of the characters.

the suspense and drama are so good. I love these characters. they are amazing. Dutch and Cadey are killing me with the come here no go away vibes and actions. I can't take it. I couldn't put it down.

Ok so I love how strong Cadence is. She never truly backs down, and I know some may see it differently when it comes to her and Dutch but you can’t help your feelings for someone. Dutch is finally starting to realize what his feelings are for Cadence. There were a few shockers in this book. I am really looking forward to the next book. I need to know what happened next with Dutch and Cadence and also Jarod Cross seems like a bit of a psycho , so I’m looking forward to more of that .

And that's a good thing. Dutch and Cadence are still at each other's throats, but the tension is building. The question is who will snap first. It doesn't matter. What does matter is that you know that is a great second book, even better than the first. She's still being bullied and there are more twist taking this story to the next level. This book made me laugh, happy, anxious and going, "Oh, no." It has a sensuous undertone that builds and builds until it pops. I enjoy this story so much, and I cannot wait to see where the next book takes the Cross men. Yeah, Daddy joining in the fun. Enjoy.

-Bully -gossip girl-ish -secrets -internal struggles This book is full of unexpected twists and turns. While you may find yourself wanting to dislike Dutch, you'll find that's difficult. Similarly, you might wish Cadence would be more assertive, but she isn't. I appreciate the complex and compelling relationship between Dutch and Cadence. I also empathize with both Sol and Zane. The characters' experiences demonstrate the truth of the saying that the grass isn't always greener on the other side. This storyline is captivating.

Came across this book in my kindle recommendations and as I love a good bully romance thought I’d try it and I wasn’t disappointed, what a well written gripping story. Cadence is such a great FMC and love her self confidence and kindness. Didn’t like Dutch at all in the last book but he is growing on me here. It’s great that he’s trying to help Cadence with her stage fright and looking out for now. Really wondering where the story will take us next and what will happen to Dutch and Cadence, a thoroughly enjoyable read.

Oh my god, you left it on a cliffhanger! The devious minds of everyone in play, and a mystery at the end of the book. Well worth reading .

I loved all the characters and plot twist. I also like that there’s still a lot of secrets not exposed so the 3rd book will be interesting still.

I thought this series was going to be like any other bully books out there and the 1st book which had strong similarity between the general "bully" romance and it, the second book will hit you upside down with how the plot thickens vibe. There is so much drama and things happening and i am intrigued to finding out what happens next.
