Great shavette! Comes with razors. Will probably cut yourself the first few times you use it if you’re not experienced. Give it time and practice and soon you’ll have an enjoyable and inexpensive shaving experience. Far more satisfying than a modern cartridge razor experience, and especially far more inexpensive!

Nicely weighted and balanced. I had a razor that was light in the head, and it made it harder to maneuver. This one is definitely front weighted so it makes cutting a lot easier. On the flip side, it also means I have to be a little more careful maneuvering it around because I have cut myself more frequently by forgetting how little pressure this one takes to make a nice slice. So, it’ll probably take a few weeks to get used to, but once you do, it’s much easier to use than a lighter razor. The blades aren’t so great, I usually need 2 to get through my whole face, but I also have extremely coarse hair, so you might get more out of them. Also, they’re complimentary, so if you already have blades you like, stick with them and keep these for emergencies.

The price was great for this straight razor. The material that it is made of is pleasing to the eye and feels good in the hand. Blade insertion was easy. The razor was easy too handle and maneuver and I have been using straight razors for about a year. I received the 100 blades with the order. I am not sure how sharp the blades are yet because I have used it only once but they seem pretty sharp on the first try. My experience with blades are that when you buy them in packs like this not all them blades have the same sharpness.

La recomiendo por su facilidad de manejo, agarre y corte. Es mi primera navaja de este estilo (siempre usaba rastrillos). La primera vez que la usé me lastimé mucho, no me corté pero si me quedó la piel toda irritada. Cambié la espuma de afeitar comercial por hacer mi propia espuma con jabón y brocha; y noto mejor corte y poca irritación. Si eres novato como yo, aviéntate unos tutoriales antes de aventurarte a usarla.

First time I use a shavette and I must say it does a better job than the regular razors. For anyone who hasnt tried shavettes before, you have nothing to loose, its cheap and does the Job. Highly recommended!

This shavette feels solid in the hand heavy, well-balanced, and not slippery at all. It gives a very confident grip while shaving. One thing worth mentioning is the blade exposure: it does stick out a bit more than usual. For experienced users this won’t be an issue, but beginners or those new to shavettes should be extra careful, as it can easily cause nicks and cuts. I personally didn’t face some of the problems other reviewers mentioned, like the handle loosening or the blade falling out. I also didn’t use the included blades since I already shave with my preferred brand. Overall, I think it’s a good purchase and deserves a solid rating. Just a word of caution for new users: take your time and respect the learning curve, because shavettes are less forgiving than safety razors.
