Works as well as designed
This is smaller than the original ice maker we had in the cabinet. I had to retro some new side panels to make the illusion that that it was made to fit. but it creates ice at a fast rate and able to keep up with party demands. Normally we run it long enought to fill the ice bin in the refrigerator and then shut it off. It is noisy, making ice and dropping cubes into the empty bin. Eventually it shuts off as the bin is full and we are good for a long time. There are only two people in our house so normal ice demands are not that high. This machine has an excellent price. It is servicing us well.

Terrible product and doesn't pay for return shipping. AVOID
This ice maker doesn't keep ice frozen. If you don't use the ice the same day it makes it, then it completely melts and runs out to the water drain which you then have to change constantly if its not going into a drain pipe. Also, there is no adjustment for the amount of ice you want, so it fills to the top constantly, and then melts away if not used with in 12 hours. So also a huge waste of water. If your using jug water on top, it will be gone in a day.And here is the kicker - when you try to return the terrible product, YOU have to pay for postage to CHINA! I packaged it carefully, took it to post office and BUYER pays shipping. The price was $1,300 to return. Needless to say, Im out $300 and I am stuck with a piece of junk that doesn't even keep the ice frozen. AVOID this seller and product.

Doesn’t hold ice
Unfortunately while this is a capable ice maker, it doesn’t hold the ice in frozen state. The drain hose is no where long enough either. I’ve been bagging the ice and using a bucket underneath to catch the water.

Great ice maker but drains like a mother!
This is a great ice maker for the price so far BUT it really goes through water! The interior doesn't keep that cold so the ice melts constantly and drains like crazy. I go through a couple of 5 gal jugs a week. It's kinda noisey for our kitchen. I also have to keep dumping the drained water all the time so that is a real hassel. It does make ice quickly and hold quite a bit in the bin.

Great ice machine!
This machine can really make ice. Nice and quiet, We like the fact you can put a bottle on top instead of just using a water supply line. Makes alot of ice in a 24 hour period.Only drawback.. the machine does not keep the ice cubes frozen, so bag that ice.

1st time turned on and then gone!
Avoiding this product, I bought this piece of junk in 2023. I Keep it in the garage by never opening the box. Recently, I opened the box and installed it, turned it on, and it drained a lot of water out by nothing; I left it run for a couple of hours and still drained lots of water out without any ice! So I couldn't return after 30 days!

Watch out for biofilm!
I love the machine… BUTI thought with UV and auto clean features things would stay sate. First manual cleaning after I noticed it above the tray section took all day with a strong headlamp and a food grade bacterial spray.Ice makers are dark and wet, perfect conditions for slime formation.Next check… it’s back. This time husband took top off and all the plastic tubing. That was caked with biofilm inside. I bought special brushes for that. I also could get to the reservoir which despite previous draining and rinsing bioslime particles remained.Cleaned everything with VitalOxide, let it air dry. Put the kettle on to boil then the it cool to just “hot” and filled and drained the reservoir again.Ran 2 clean cycles and dumped the first batch of cubes. This process takes s as lot of time over two days. Hopefully this will eliminate the problem. Now I’m not interested in ordering anything with ice in it when I go out. I‘m just guessing that in order to deep clean commercial machines they have to shut down operations and the labor cost is probable pretty significant.Tip: don’t rely on auto clean cycles. Get yourself the brushes, gloves, and a high powered miners style headlamp.PS: I’m surprised the slime didn’t make us all sick. Maybe the UV killed it once the ice collected in the bin… IDK. I didn’t know what it was when I found it. Had to look it up.I bet someone interested in a high ROI could launch a successful small business just servicing ice machines.

Smaller than expected
This is the 5th undercounter ice maker we’ve purchased over the last 30 to 40 years. The only other complaint is having to break up the sheets of ice. However, it does break up easily. I have an inline filter and the ice is crystal clear! We seldom have any need for huge quantities of ice and this unit fits our needs perfectly. We have used this unit for 2 months with no issues at all. Right now, I would definitely recommend this ice maker!
