I feel like the product works pretty well and that it's a good quantity for the dollar, but I could have sworn when I ordered it, the page said it was unscented. My fragrance allergies are pretty sensitive so I normally only buy unscented products if I can help it, and this one is just on the cusp of too strong and sensory triggering for me. I'm giving it a shot but was disappointed this has an unnecessary scent :( Eta: my second try of this proves it's actually not mild enough scented to use. It legit has the strength of a body spray or something and it's actually quite overpowering, and has now caused a notable allergic reaction for me. Really disappointed.

Propylene glycol, glycerol, butylene glycol, dipropylene glycol are solvents. They hold moisture and help things dissolve. Common, well-studied, low concern. Glycerol in particular is one of the most benign moisturizing agents that exists. Phenoxyethanol and sodium benzoate are preservatives. They stop the bottle from growing mold and bacteria, which you actually want. Both are used at tiny concentrations and are considered safe at those levels. Fragrance is a legitimate potential consideration. It's an undisclosed blend, and fragrance is the most common cause of contact allergies in cosmetics. If you had a sensitivity you'd typically know it: itching, redness, flaking where it contacts skin. The dyes CI 14290, CI 19140/tartrazine are purely cosmetic coloring. Tartrazine can rarely cause itching or hives in sensitive people, but it's always labeled so you can avoid it. The only potential conflicts between this product and skin are for unique cases of increased sensitivity, so you probably already know this in advance or will know it upon use.

This is a great affordable sea salt spray. I have tried others that cost twice as much and for the money this is good. Of the others I have tried, this may have a little less hold and the wave to your hair it provides is a little more subtle than the others but my hair still looks good. Your hair feels soft and not scrunchy which is a good thing. Provides a natural feel to your hair.

I didn't like this product at first but it's grown on me. In fairness the quantity is huge for the price. The scent (aloe) is really pleasant, and makes a nice change from the ubiquitous coconut smell of all the other sea salt sprays. Not that coconut is bad, but I don't always want to smell the same. At first I thought it was ineffective, needing a dozen sprays or more to get the desired effect. But I realise now this is because the atomiser is really effective at dispersing a very small amount over a wide area, meaning it sprays evenly and it's harder to apply too much in one area by mistake. It does feel a bit sticky on the skin when scrunching, but no more that is usual for this type of product. The texture it provides is excellent, matte, and not dry. I will be buying this again when my bottle runs out, but it seems to last forever.
