Very nice car ashtray. Makes a great gift. It's easy to use and works well.

I have had this ash one year now. I'm just changing the battery and writing this review. I don't know why anyone is having issues with it durability or light function. Mine still looks brand new. The few things that could be better or they could find a better way to replace the battery. The way the cap opens seems like it could break at some point. I like that you can use a 2025 or a 2032 battery. It seems like the ashtray could last a lifetime if they redesign the battery compartment which is the lid to be something that comes apart and goes back together with more than just pressure. And thanks to the person who left the video review of how to change the battery.

I got this because even though I smoke I do make efforts to never litter the butts. The built in light is actually kinda annoying if you have night blindness like I do haha, but besides that it works fine. Ive been able to just drop cigarettes straight in there without even crushing the cherry out and they have gone out but I of course highly recommend always making sure the cherry is crushed and the lid is shut after your dispose of the butt ! It’s easy to empty and I like that it keeps ash out of my back seat (cause as all smokers know it’s inevitable when you’re going to ash out a window while driving). It also completely muffles the smell of the cigarette butts, my car does not smell like an ash tray. No need to put water in it or anything either. I will say though that the light kind of began to break only two months in to having this thing and now it kind of just flickers, but as I stated before the light bothered me anyway so I don’t really care that it’s gone out. Also the sun/heat ended up warping the lid to it but like just the rubber part in the center the actual lid still completely closes and works just fine.

I love the convenience of the lighting, it's a good size and the closure works well so you don't have to empty as often, it's a good value. Very easy to empty and clean

Hold up I didn't get the clearer or brush. I only got the ash tray. It's good quality but I'd loved to have git everything advertised. Light still works. I don't like when I close it smoke still comes out. The lid doesn't seal well.

Best car ashtray I’ve ever purchased

It works great. Nothing is malfunctioning. The sides do not get burnt. Easy to empty and clean. I have had it for a couple months and the light is still working. Sleek design too. I bought this for my home to help eliminate odor and it does just that. The open slot in the back is small so not a lot of extinguishing smoke escapes. Update December 2021: This is the second time buying this product. My first ashtray is still functioning perfectly! I bought a second one for my car. I bought it in all black this time (the first time I purchased the black and gray). It is still a sleek design. Everything is functioning. However, on the first ashtray, this next statement will be the third update on this feature: the light did finally stop working, but truthfully I’m not worried about the light not working. If you are expecting a very long life span for ashtray lights, that is something I have never had happen on any ashtrays I have owned. The lights just aren’t meant to last forever. :) So I would not let this downfall sway your buying decision.

Easy to clean

Works well. Seals very well when lid is closed. Light could be a bit brighter and it doesnt work when real cold but that is an LED trait. Hopefully battery lasts as it looks to be difficult to replace battery
