Pellon Fuse-N-Shape Medium Weight Fusible Interfacing-White 15 x 36-inch

Selecting an interfacing online is a bit of a mine field, but this one is not meant to be an interfacing for dress making - the pictures and info on the pack indicate its uses, so don't buy it if you want to use it for clothing. However, It is the perfect fusible interfacing for constructing bags requiring a firmer texture. It worked perfectly with quilting weight cotton fabric.It is fusible on both sides, easy to use, requiring a medium/hot dry iron initially and smooth action to prevent puckering. I used a non stick pressing sheet underneath. Follow the instructions thoroughly. Once happy with the result, steam iron it to fix it properly. The texture then changes and becomes more flexible, like a soft thin leather, which makes it easier to turn right side out if requiring bagging out once lined. I do wish it came in larger pieces/by the metre to get more options with bag size.

Great product, does exactly what it is supposed to do

Bought to interface a dress as normally medium fusible interfacing is the right stuff for the job - this stuff isn't medium and is not suitable for dressmaking as it is the thickness and stiffness of cardboard box. Passed onto my mother in law who makes bags.

It did what it was meant to but medium is surprisingly solid. I was actually after something that would give flexible shape. This is more rigid shape

Much much heavier than I wanted and not appropriate for what I'm sewing. Would work for sewing bags?

My bag has the perfect rigidity to keep his shape. What I would like is more of that fabric in the same bag like one or two square yard and not the size that I received cuz in the middle of sewing period, I didn’t have enough!

This product is awesome. It has adhesive on two sides and is very thick which makes an awesome interfacing for craft projects that need some thickness. The adhesive is very responsive to heat and required very little time or effort to secure to my fabric. Don’t listen to the other review that marked the product badly for their own error in not reading the product discription.
