Excellent quality
This is a very nice wood mallet. Mine is 9.5" in length x 3" in diameter. It weighs 16 ounces. All it needs is a coat of Minwax #209 clear oil stain.

Does not last! buyer beware!
Do not recommend. Have had this item for one month and it’s already falling apart and breaking pieces off and of course we’re right outside of the return window. Waste of money find a better product.

Exactly what I needed.

Well Made
Got this to use with my splitting Froe. could not split wood with it but I will find other uses for it. The splitting froe didn't work.

Not worth it
Broke before I even had a pile of shake. 6 logs

A bit soft
We will be using this with a Froe - and I worry that it won’t last long given the softness of the wood. Though it will help soften the impact of each blow on your hand.

Was hoping it was a bit bigger but well made
This should work with my Froe to split shingles. It would have been nicer if it was bigger but other wise it was what I needed.
