    Attractive, but poor quality control

*by P***J on Reviewed in the United States on January 1, 2019*

I haven’t read all three, so I can’t speak to the editing. This review is about quality of the books. The books are vibrant and unique. I love the different colors and styles in the set.The ragged page edges isn’t a huge deal, though I do prefer a straight, even cut.My main issue is with the inside cover of one of the books. They ran out of the print, so they glued the inside cover to the first page so the unfinished inside wouldn’t be visible. This ruins the aesthetics of the book and makes it not match the other two books in the set. Plus it’s just shoddy work. Also, the solid color on the spine is crooked and doesn’t give the book a clean, finished appearance. If you want a set just to have and potentially get beat up, the set would be great. If you want a set to both read, but also display, I would keep looking.

    Terrible Binding

*by K***K on Reviewed in the United States on March 26, 2018*

I bought this boxed set of thee hardcover books for $48. The binding is extremely cheap. Each page was a different width. I'm returning them. They are beautifully written and I'm sure I can find a better bound copy.

    Absolutely lovely!

Beautiful set of books! I love "Anne of Green Gables" yet didn't have a nice reading copy so I bought these and they are lovely! Quick shipping, lovely books and a wonderful heroine-what a winning combination!
