Works as promised but challenging to stay in place
The product is basically a handwarmer for use on your knees or elbows. Recovering from a meniscus trim that left my knee still feeling achy at times that I have addressing with a heating pad. I was pleasantly surprised with the amount heat it generates after rubbing the pads briskly to mix up the contents. The heat seems to last for 2-3 hours. My only misgiving is that the velcro-like straps don't secure the pad in place very strongly. If you move, even while just sitting, the pad can fall off. I use separate straps with velcro from the hardware store that keep the pad in place. The bottom line is it is a disposable heating pad that gets the job done. I am sure that mileage will vary for different people.

These knee patches are exactly what I was hoping for, and exceeded my expectations. It is exactly as described and a great value as well. They adhere well and work great. I highly recommend!

Uncomfortable
The product didn't form to the knee very well. It was too stiff and scratchy

Not too hot. Stays on my elbow . Good product. I am very pleased with it.However, it only lasted me aprox 2 1/2 hours before it was exhausted and the straps were not up to keeping it on my elbow. I guess that's why no duration is mentioned on package.

I can't keep them on my knees, as soon as I try and walk they slip out of place.

These produce almost no heat. They do nothing for pain relief.

Perform as stated
I have a knee that gets sore and cranky due to an old injury. This disposable heating pad goes on easily, and as long as I'm not super active, stays in place reasonably well. It would fit an elbow well also, and probably other spots on your limbs as well.It performs exactly as stated in the product listing: long lasting, gentle heat. I think it's a bit too gentle to be really effective pain relief, but does feel pleasant and seems to be loosening my knee up a bit. I would typically put my electric heating pad on a higher temperature than this reaches, but wouldn't keep it on as long.So I wouldn't replace my heating pad with these disposable heating patches, but I think they're useful when you need some relief at times that you can't be immobile near an outlet.
