Good for the money
Good machine. I'm using it right now. Wonderful personal laptop for home. I don't miss things (my older laptop had) as much as I thought I would...like 10-key and a DVD drive.

Great laptop for basic and some advanced needs.
While having an extremely affordable price point this unit delivers not only in speed but useability. The keyboard is probably the best that I've ever used and is very solid. The build quality is astounding and very solid with no fear of something breaking, especially in the hinge category of the screen. No, it's not a one handed open but who wants a flimsy hinge anyways. This is more than adequate for students and anyone who desires a solid laptop for both home and school as well as business use. Games run as expected but it's not a high-end gaming device. However, this one delivers awesome performance with just the right amount of RAM and storage. It's not only light enough to carry around but also very responsive. Lenovo did a great job in the assembly and build quality and I can attest doing programming and video editing this unit fits the needs perfectly. My final thoughts is if anyone is considering a new laptop this one ranks very high.

works great!
we got this laptop and it work’s amazing, but the only issue i have with it is that it doesn’t hold a charge and it never actually shuts down. I don’t know why, but it’s still a wonderful laptop and the price was amazing.

Tengo tres años con la laptop y tengo que decir que es un producto excelente, la batería dura un montón, la pantalla tiene el tamaño adecuado, las teclas son ligeras, el diseño es increíble y el procesador es excelente, no se traba o pega, incluso lo he usado para jugar juegos de gama media-alta y corren super bien.

Great little machine, great price
This reminds me very much of the IBM ThinkPad I had years ago. Which isn't surprising considering Lenovo took over IBM's computer business. It's lightweight but sturdy. The keyboard is great for typing on. I use this as a second computer to do my writing when I'm not at home. The 8GB RAM is plenty for my needs. Although this isn't a gaming machine it plays some of my older games like Age of Empires and Diablo II. There are a few downsides though. The hard drive is tiny but I bought an external hard drive for less than upgrading the storage. It would be nice if the USB ports were on the right side instead of the left. And the function keys are a little off. You have to press the Fn keys to get them to work instead of things like the volume keys. All in all though I'm very satisfied with it and would buy another one when the time comes.

great product for the money
the product is great! My last computer died right at the being of the semester so I had to think fast and cheaply. this is the best. it is light, fast, and a great buy. the only downside I can see is that it has a lower-quality audio and visuals than my last computer. but over for the price and the functionality of it, this is a great price. also just for clarity, I use my computer for college, work ( computer work and video meetings ), and entertainment such as TV and music.

Look for a better option.
I bought it in 2023, and I'm only now getting around to posting a review. The screen hinges are complete garbage; they broke in less than a year. I was already dealing with the slow charging and short battery life, and that was the worst part. Thank God, or by sheer luck, it still worked, but you couldn't open it without breaking it. My brother tried to fix it with some kind of putty, and it lasted another year. He had to do it again last year, and now it's just gathering dust in a corner. It makes me angry just to use it. Save up a little more money and buy a better one. 🙏🏻

Sleek Design, but Falls Short on Performance
Nice-looking laptop, but performance is a bit underwhelming. I would recommend going with an i5 processor or higher for a smoother user experience. There is a slight lag when navigating or clicking through certain options. It works fine for light browsing and basic tasks, but may struggle with anything more demanding. No keys backlighting at nights 👎
