How can you fault a Tamiya motor, great value and really looks good to look at, easy to fit and does the job

What a motor 23T but don't be fooled
I got this for my hotshot ( the re re hotshot) , due to the hotshot being 4 wheel drive this drains power from the standard silver can 540 motor , this motor is a 23 turn motor but don't be fooled this will take you RC car to the next level my hotshot is so fast now you have to slow for corners or she flips over the hot shot will never be a rocket ship but the gearbox will take the power of the super stock motor ( I was going brushless but gearbox won't take the power ) so this is really the next best thing toAdd bling to your RC car this motor is a thing of beauty shame it's tucked awayWords of warning you must upgrade the hotshot to full bearings as the plastic bushes will melt with this more powerful motor , I also put bearings in the motor so no friction in the motor it's not a hard job the bearing in the can is a little harder to do as the magnets are mega powerful but worth doing

Great motor!
It's "only" a 23 turn motor, but don't let that fool you!I've run numerous faster brushed motors before, and this really impressed me. It won't rev as fast as hotter winds, but it makes a great amount of torque. Put a bigger pinion gear on and enjoy surprising several brushless owners!I'm getting another

Disappointing.
Burned through brushes in just a few races and armature damaged beyond repair. Have now gone brushless and getting far better performance with no durability issues. Disappointed.

A great hop up motor for 1/10 scale RC
I love these motors, they give a great performance boost for not much money and are compatible with Carson Dragster and Hobbywing 10-60 speedos among other cheaper units so often no upgrade is necessary. No load speed of 26,500 RPM at 7.2V. Can't be bad. These are 23 turn motors.
