ARCTIC FOX Semi-Permanent Hair Dye Ginger Flare - Vegan Ammonia Free - 8 oz

Overall my favorite ginger ive used! Works well with extensions and has a super nice undertone. It also fades to a pretty color that looks intentional. Included a picture of it faded and fresh!

This dye got my hair brighter than imagined, here’s the base I put it on and the result !! It’s super bright in the sun also !!

I have no issue with the fact this turned my hair orange and even brighter orange at the roots, because it was never presented as anything other than a ginger hair dye. Now, my hair is snow white naturally. But three months ago, I had my hair toned professionally. Apparently, this counts as a process. It was not detectible to the naked eye but, alas, when I put this on ... the roots that were NOT part of the toning process were bright peach. Again... all on me. No fault of product. But I thought I would share that on hair that is snow white and virgin(ish) it will be bright and won't want to take it very much. It was a peach. But, other than that (again, all on me) this is a good product. No damage and my hair was soft. I liked being able to test drive red hair without full commitment. It was a great way to try without permanent dye. I removed it using a clarifying shampoo. All good.

Wish they had a longer lasting one bc loved the color and I was sad it washed out so quickly. That aside since it is a less lasting dye type- amazing product! No weird scent...it actually had a pleasant smell while dying and the color came out so good! If I ever need another temporary color I know where to get it!

I just dyed my hair today with the “ginger flare”, it was so easy and didn’t stain my scalp. I left it on for about 40min and rinsed it out, washed with shampoo and conditioner after and this is my result! I am a “dirty blonde” before. I did have some highlights that grew out and the color stuck to those a little more but overall, the color was absorbed all over. I’m hoping it lasts a while!! 😍

Definitely stayed in my daughter’s hair longer than I expected, however a great product for a semi permanent dye. We have purchased 3 different colors so far, and we haven’t been disappointed yet.

So this hair color is like a ginger redhead, a redhead and a bottle so if you’re not fan of the orange reddish color, then you’re not going to be a fan of this. I do recommend having your hair blonde and with some highlights in your hair before you putting this in your hair so it does look natural. So it doesn’t just look like You have orange paste in your hair. I am not a fan of just throwing color in my hair my hair needs to have dimension in it when your hair has dimension. It looks so much better even if you have a crappy hair color or a hair color you don’t like This hair color washes out super fast and I would definitely recommend wearing a nightcap when you sleep will come out on your sheets. This is my favorite hair brand of semi permanent hair color so don’t think that I’m talking trash about the hair color because I’m not I actually do love it. It’s one of my favorite brands. I feel safe when I use it, I know that my hair color is gonna come out very vibrant. I just know that it’s going to also come out very quick . So you can mix and match these hair colors I would definitely recommend going on their website and chatting it up with the people on their website in the chat box. If you’re not sure what kind of color you want or want to be a darker ginger color? I would definitely recommend going on their website and asking them what you need to order. Other than that, I love the color. Yes, my hair was washed out a lot in the video that I showed you, but I wanted to make a video of it before it all came out , and my hair was super super super super blonde with a tint of green so it did come out very pretty and vibrant. It just didn’t last long and I won’t do it again this color. I am a blonde and through definitely brought out the pink undertone in my skin and I didn’t like that if I did not have a pink undertone in my skin, I probably would’ve done my hair color again .

Avoid Transylvania black. My friend and I thought we could use ginger flare and Transylvania black for a natural looking brown. It looks comically fake. Also it doesn’t function like temporary color. It won’t go away. We dyed our hair at the same time. I did mine with artic fox she did hers with permanent color. The permanent color washed out quicker than this. Now my hair is a bizarre, nauseating mess of dark greenish brown frizzy blobs mixed with reddish brown blobs. Never in my entire life has my hair looked so bad. Since my hair pretty much fell out due to a different fiasco, now I look exactly like Homer Simpson. D’ot! Now I can look forward to a minimum of another year and a half of this. It’s been nearly a year of harsh shampoo and vitamin c baths. I’m so tired of this but I can’t afford a salon. If you want to try black hair please do yourself a favor and get a wig. Try it for a few days. Don’t do this. Worst hair mistake ever.

My hair has never been dyed before, so my expectations going into this were that I might just get a ginger light tint/hue over my dark blonde. I used probably 3/4 of the bottle and left it on a few hours while doing chores around the house and it came out so beautiful and vibrant! Plus, my hair smells great, doesn’t feel noticeably dryer, and it didn’t mess with my curl pattern. First photo is directly before and after, in the sunshine. Second photo is 2 washes in. Toned down a little, but honestly not much - I think most of the difference is lighting. As it fades, I think it will become the perfect more natural auburn I was originally shooting for!

I will give 5 stars because the product is great, but I did not use it because it is not ginger or natural redhead. It is close to crazy, loud colors. Not for me, but great for others. I would like to call it fiery red, not ginger/orange/redhead.

Vivid, delicious, healing ginger-red colour! Arctic Fox, I simply adore you 🙏🏻 I have used their products before and they have never steered me wrong. This product doesn’t really stain my clothes, doesn’t bleed in the shower (you might see faint colour tinge of the water after your first wash but for a red that is NOTHING), and nourishes your hair even if it was dry or damaged before colouring. I have become autumn. My hair rivals the changing leaves. I am fall, y’all. Now, I did this over professionally lightened hair about 5 weeks after my last touch up of bleach. Before I used this colour, I used a different, more orangey-gold toned semi-permanent Copper Clenditioner to fill my blonde. It was FIRE. I left a review for that product as well because it was also just so so good. I continue to use it once a week mixed with hair mask to keep my colour fresh. My roots-mids (all the dark) is my natural, and the colour didn’t stick to it, just toned it a little. To be expected from a semi-permanent dye. But the filled-blonde bits drank it in! It left such a gorgeous, reddish-copper shade and as always, smells divine. It’s been 2 washes now and the colour is lightened but holding. Copper Clenditioner + Ginger Flare = Autumnal Bliss!

I LOVE it!! Left me with the prettiest copper colour that matches my extensions perfectly! So gentle on my damaged hair as well! My hair wasn’t pre lightened around my root areas so they are a little darker but still have that red undertone!! So happy!

Loved the end result from this hair colour, I also like that it didn’t bleed the colour after.
