No hassles, has inbuilt 4g so no need to setup wifi for most people. Just really easy. I replaced a ProjectEV charger with this, it’s a big improvement!

Smaller and much more discreet than most other home chargers out there got it was installed by a professional who mentioned it was simple to install and was up and running in less than an hour. The charger itself is very small and I like that as is blends in with the exterior of my house, the light ring on the front shows you what state the charger is in at a glance. The app is simple to use and does not bombard you with too much info it has a clean layout and easily allows you to set schedules and see the charge history and current speed if it is charging. You can activate charging with a smart RFID card or the app I just connect the cable and it will start. I have mines setup to only charge at the times my electric tariff is cheaper I had to input the overnight times I want my charging to start into the app which was easy to do. The unit has WiFi and some 4G connectivity I have been using the WiFi it has worked flawlessly you can also lock the charging cable into the charger it comes with a 5 year warranty which is great for such a reasonably priced home charger it would be even better if it had a small screen on the unit to control it but it is still good for the price and being the small size it I can see why it does not have a screen.

This item has to be installed by a professional. Luckily I know someone who could fit it to replace a very bulky and unsightly older charger. It took him a few minutes once the holes were drilled but a fresh install can be costly, time consuming, and does require an RCD, 6mm cable, and some upheaval depending on where your consumer unit is. This is all worth bearing in mind before purchasing any EV charger.It’s easy to initialise once installed, the app is very straightforward and the charger kicked into life straight away. It’s a lot less glitchy and much more responsive than the previous charger I had.You don’t get an RFID key but you don’t need one if you have the app on your mobile. They’re only a few pounds to buy should you want one. The charger connects to the app via Bluetooth, WiFi or its built in 4G.You can purchase different covers in an assortment of colours should you wish to update the exterior of your house, a lot of the colours match well with front door colours which make this fairly inconspicuous charger even more inconspicuous.The 5 year warranty is good, many only come with 3 years. I’ve not heard of the company before but that doesn’t mean that this isn’t a very good quality charger.The only thing I would grumble about is the price, it’s quite high, hence the 4 star review. It’s a 5 star charger!

Reviewed by a relative.The charger is very small (It’s similar in size to an iPad Mini) taking up 80% less space than other chargers of its type. It also comes with a huge 5 year manufacturers warranty. It states it is compatible with all electric cars. You can get it in six colours which are interchangeable if damaged.It stays connected to the internet via WiFi or 4G allowing everything to be updated with the newest functions and updates. The app allows for smart scheduling you can also monitor your charging session, speed, and history.You can also create individual accounts allowing access and lock ability. There is also the option of adding up to three chargers in the same space if you need more than one. It’s about 6 hours ish to charge from flat and you can only use this on single phase electric.To charge I plugged in The charging cable, blue pulsing light means charging. You can pause the charging but not pull the cable out ( this is a built in safety precaution). However you can pause and stop via the app but only pull out the cable once stopped via the app.It is preprogrammed to not charge at certain times to avoid peaks this can be overridden via the app. This charger is fantastic, neat, modern and discreet.My only criticism is you cannot program in the price per kilowatt so you cannot get an average cost of a full charge which is annoying but with firmware capabilities hopefully this will come in the future.
