Put the cover back on and it's still working good. So I give response and both lights 4 stars.

I had doubts BUT....
These were inexpensive so I thought I'd give them a whirl and if they sucked, no big deal. To my surprise they actually worked well!! Nice BRIGHT strobe on them too!!! These have turned out to be a good deal!

Stopped working
The blue light is still working fine. The red stopped working after 6 months of having it in the car. I think the blue light that is working stopped thieves from breaking in the car. My neighbor had a car broken into. I have two cars and have a light in each of them. So i'll put the car that light is not working in a garage. The seller was very good in a response. I took the cover off and it started working ok. Put the cover back on and it's still working good. So I give response and both lights 4 stars.

Still working strong after 1 year and I'm glad I got the two pack because I've lost one already
I liked that it simulates the blue linking LED of the well-known viper alarm systems. It should blink faster to perfectly match the viper blink but I guess it's trying to conserve the battery that is charged by it's mini solar panel. I bought two but immediately lost one somewhere in the car but the one I have left has been working strong for over a year even though it's just a all black piece of plastic sitting on the dashboard, under the hot Sun of a hot car. I don't think this would work for a professional thief but it might keep inexperienced thieves from making your car a target of opportunity. Worth the money in my opinion. And to the manufacturer please make it blink faster in future models.
