Great book full of easy-to-follow patterns. Very appropriate for the times and lead to some fun creations!

I freaking LOVE this book! Honestly can’t give it enough stars!! It’s very easy to follow & even has a how to for the beginners

Purchased for my daughter as a Christmas gift. She enjoys making somewhat naughty cross stitch designs. Some of these are more political and feminist oriented. It was a win of a last minute gift. Surprisingly, it arrived on time even though ordered last minute.

The title for this book had me really excited, especially since I'm not really a fan of cross stitching but am a fan of craftivism. While the author was consistent in her "Really cross" attitude towards using craft for social issues, I didn't really get the same creative jolt from this book as I have from other craftivism projects. As I said, cards on the table, I'm not a fan of cross stitch, but I was hoping to get some ideas and just use them with different crafting approaches. Sadly, the patterns were pretty much the same each time, a snarky or enigmatic quote on a plain background with slight embellishments along the tops and bottoms. I did get a little bit of history from accompanying text but not enough to satisfy me, although I may use some of the quotes I read in future projects. So, as a boost for my own creativity I was a little disappointed, although if you are a dedicated cross stitcher, you may enjoy this book.

To jump off another buyers review, extremely pro-choice, pro-science, pro-women, and anti-trump. It’s great! Patterns are very simple and the book was less than ten bucks, so whatcha expect?

Great stitching projects for the modern "Craftivist." Clear instructions, simple but relevant projects. Not for the morally weak and repugnant.

Wenn man sich eine genaue Anleitung erwartet, ist das Buch weniger geeignet. Die Sprüche sind zum Teil doch sehr speziell bzw. referenziell, sodass sie nicht geeigent sind für jene, die mit den Themen weniger vertraut sind.

Got this for my wife and she loves it!

Not what I expected. Thought it would have more 'rude' patterns. Not even really a handful of those included. The rest of the patterns are political and/or feminist.The patterns are easy to follow though and are still fun.
