This elevation pillow saved me after I suffered a compound fracture of my tibia. I had to keep my leg elevated for hours every day over the course of several months and I found this pillow to be very sturdy and stabilizing. The size was perfect allowing me to take it from bed to couch to recliner. There is a rougher surface on the underside of it which helps to prevent sliding of the pillow. Only improvement I would suggest is I wish there were two handles on the front side of it to assist in pulling the pillow closer. Also, if you are wearing a therapeutic boot, be aware that your boot will snag the lightweight quilted fabric over time so you may need to lay a hand towel down on the pillow to protect it. The snags you see in the photos are my fault as I should have taken measures to protect it sooner. Other than that, very happy and satisfied with my purchase!

I felt clumsy already, and using the stacked up pillows for elevation was not ideal. I’m so glad my husband suggested this. It has elevated not only my leg, but also my comfort level, and given me a huge sense of relief. It’s stable, the size is perfect, and still easy for my family to bring to me in different locations and I become more ambulatory. 100% recommend. Tip: as another reviewer pointed out, my cast can snag the material, so I place a towel over the top to avoid. I guess that would be the only suggestion for improving the product- a cover that doesn’t snag.

Just had ankle surgery and the first two days were stacked pillows 3 high. They of course would slide out and was just plain annoying. This not only does the job but is very comfortable as well as holds ankle at the right height. This is worth it if you are having surgery done that needs elevation. Only advice would be order it before your surgery!

I had recent foot& ankle surgery and the surgeon advised keeping the foot elevated as much as possible. I use this pillow on top of an already tall ottoman, yet it is comfortable to position my leg there for long periods and easy to adjust thanks to the sewn in handles.

If you've had surgery or need to elevate your leg for any reason, you NEED this!!! I didn't even know this was a thing. I recently broke my foot and had been using pillows and things to prop it up. My husband had a total knee replacement surgery and I bought this for him to use afterwards. It was a great help helped his blood flow circulation and help keep the swelling down. It was just wonderful I highly recommend it.

I broke my ankle and have to keep it elevated. I found this and thought I'd give it a try. it is PERFECT! Best purchase I've made. Keeps my leg a comfortable height and keeps it in place. I sleep with it, and use it pretty much 24/7. Definitely recommend
