My wife's laptop finally became un-usable with the intermittent issue with the screen becoming more of an issue than not. She'd put off replacing it as long as possible, not least because she'd rather not have had to spend any money, so a low price was really important. She did not really need anything high performance given that she mostly uses her laptop for browsing the internet, email, online shopping etcAt the bottom end of the laptop price spectrum the choice is normally limited to basic processors with low RAM and often soldered on eMMC storage and the cut down Win 11 version. These machines are limited to start with and with no upgradeability you can't even squeeze out another year or so with more RAM and storageWe had looked at 2nd hand/refurbished machines but to get a "reasonable" machine meant spending more money than she wanted on something that she wasn't sure exactly what it would be and that was again already usedHowever looking on Amazon Outlet we saw this Dell laptop at a pretty good price. It's a much better spec than we could get new for the some price or for second hand. I have had 2 Dell laptops over I think the last 15 years so we know they are durable an well made so in our experience you can't go wrong with a Dell. We were a little unsure about what the condition would be but we knew that if there were any issues we could return itWhen it arrived if we hadn't known it was outlet and we would not have known as it was almost perfect - because it was "outlet" we looked very carefully and we could find a very small mark on the lid - I think if we hadn't been looking we would not have seen it at all, so very happyIn terms of the laptop in use - the i3 processor, 8Gb Ram and the M2 SSD make it really whizz along for what she needs. Battery life is great and the screen clear and easy to read. No idea how god it might b for games as it's not going to be used for that. It's much lighter than her previous laptop and smaller due to the thinner bezel and slimmer chassisSo in summary: This is a great laptop for general use. Light and goo battery. It's a Dell so there are benefits from the scale of Dell's design and manufacturing. And even better the Outlet price made it really great value and you'd almost never know that it was outlet. On this basis I'd buy a Dell laptop from Amazon Outlet again and benefit from much better value

This is a Reasonably good Laptop but the only demeanour was it’s volume,when I play whatever through my music system I have to turn the volume up a lot higher than I did with my previous Dell Laptop
