These were wet right out of the package. That surprised me. They work great! I use them to dust, especially areas that have grooves in them. They have always been a pain to dust, but these dusting sponges get into the grooves easily. Then I just have to rinse the sponge and wring it out. They make cleaning easier.

This sponge duster made quick work of wiping down my furniture. Unlike some cloths and paper towels, it does not spread around the dust or leave behind lint. It actually collected the dust, without depositing it onto my floors, and I was able to simply run the sponge under water and rinse it away. The sponge works great for light dusting, and for heavy dusting it works well too, but the sponge needs to be cleaned frequently as the more dust that adheres to the sponge the less effective it is at wiping the surface clean. Other than my furniture, I used the sponge on my baseboards and it was able to reach into the grooves nicely to capture the dust. I tried using it on my blinds and it was okay, but the shape of the sponge was cumbersome. The sponge does feel a little awkward in the hand. I like that it’s thicker so there is a place to hold the sponge, but perhaps it would have been more comfortable if it were as wide as a traditional kitchen sponge. Overall, though, I really like these sponge dusters and will use them on a regular basis to keep my surfaces free of dust.

I got these dusting sponges to give them a try. With 4 people and a dog there is no shortage of dust to try them out with.Prior to I have been using a very slightly damp microfiber cloth to do my dusting. We have them by the truck load and they do a decent job. They get 95% of the dust, way better than a dry duster, on par with my luck with a swiffer.So I tried these and they do a smidge better, maybe half as much dust remained, so a slight improvement. Not sure I feel the need to get them again for the small improvement in dust collection. They need rinsing more often than a microfiber which you can at least flip if not more before a rinse is needed.100% they do what they say they do. I don't want to say I don't recommend, but I'll say I'll save my cash and keep using the microfibers I already have.

I've been using this dusting sponge heavily for a week, so I feel like I can speak with some confidence that it works really well! At first, I was getting it too moist and was creating clumps and smears of dust. Once I learned to squeeze the water out thoroughly, the dusting began in earnest. I use it like a "Swiffer" cloth, dusting hard surfaces like refrigerators, counter tops, bookshelves, coffee tables, and even base boards. I've also tried it on my metal window blinds and it works quite well. The ridges collect a lot of dust and also fit into grooves that other dusters have trouble with. So far all that's been needed is a quick rinse and the sponge is as good as new. I don't think it would last long on rough surfaces, but for smooth surface dusting this sponge is great! If the price of this two-pack was a little more in line with other offerings this would be a five-star product. Still, I recommend it!

sponge comes pre wet. just get them wet and slide them on a surface to pick up the dirt and dust. then just run them under water to clean them up.
