Love it, plug and play. Upgraded 4 different systems and all came right up. My Dell XPS 8700 systems were able to utilize the higher speed, awesome. If you plan to order some, don't go for the package of 4. I ordered that twice and each time only two were delivered, and I had to call Amazon to get the other two. If you want 4 I suggest you order quantity two of the two packs. Other than that, great product, great value for the money.

these sticks work precisely as expected, but what was unexpected was new ddr3 at this price. i examined it carefully and it was completely untouched, despite ddr3 being hard to find new in general anymore. the white-branded black metal casing is very pretty. it actually looks a lot nicer than in the pics, including a large milled silver finish logo on the side facing away from the cpu that is smart rather than garish as it could have easily turned out. i doubt i will ever need ddr3 again but if i did i would definitely buy this. don't look any further! update: winsat reports speeds of over 21GB/sec which is around 60% faster than nominal for this type of ram, meaning it went into dual channel mode automatically as soon as i installed it. the motherboard is from 2012 so i am very impressed with this performance.

Great replacement for old tower I have and use for testing. The RAM has allowed me to use an old chassis to virtualize multiple OS both Linux and Windows Compatible and saved me from having to purchase a new machine. The speeds are as expected with the MHz and GB stance. snaps right in and is easy to install as long as you have some knowledge of your device. Good quality memory for a decent price (At time of purchase, I cannot state what it goes for now or in the future)

I mean, upon initial boot up, my board's bios was like, "...now wait a cotton pickin minute here-". But after another reboot, the board's bios recognized it and booted up without a hitch. A good item if you're looking to somewhat upgrade your old unit.

I ordered these for an older I7 system. They came with nice heat spreaders and of course being ram were easy to install. My pc booted up without trouble and after running MemTest for 24 hours without errors I am happy with them. I would recommend you triple check that ddr3 is the type of ram your computer uses before ordering. That is the only problem I could see these having.

Bought this to upgrade my gaming PC. It’s fairly old now but still runs most games pretty well. The memory was the only bottle neck for my PC and I had high hopes this would make a considerable difference. The memory crashed my PC upon running my first program. After that it would continue to crash no matter what program I ran (even just a web browser). I ran a diagnostic check and it confirmed I had faulty memory. I swapped back in my original memory and my PC now runs fine. For all the time I wasted on this, I would not recommend purchasing this memory.

I bought this as a cheap upgrade to an old PC running my daughter's minecraft server. I had a difficult time installing until I remembered that gen 2 i7 processor systems required the memory timing to be manually entered. I removed the timing for the old memory and set the slots to auto (I could not find the timing for this memory). System booted up and works great!
