Great features
I have one of the Vantrue dash cams on my motorcycle for a couple of years and love it. I was asked by Vantrue to review this unit and agreed based on my experience with their other product. This dashcam was not difficult to install. It came with clear cling type adhesives to put on the windows first so that the more permanent adhesive on the mounts would not damage the glass or be difficult to remove later. I liked that the 12V power adapter had built-in USB ports so that if you had existing USB chargers in your 12V cigarette lighter socket, you could replace them with this power adapter and still be able to charge your USB devices. I was concerned that it would be difficult to route the rear camera wire to my back window. I have a 2018 F150 pickup truck, and it ended up being pretty easy. There was a console mounted to my windshield that I could easily pop the cover from and route the wire through. Then I ran it along the ceiling trim over to the door frame. I had to only remove one trim panel piece with a couple of screws and the rest of the routing was as simple as tucking the wire behind the interior trim. I was pleasantly surprised. The picture quality is determined by the resolution selected. You can have a full-resolution front camera only or choose lower resolutions for the rear and front cameras or the rear, interior, and front cameras. This was a little disappointing because I expected all cameras to be at full resolution at the same time when recording. The one other complaint is that it did not come with a memory card. I tried to use a memory card from an existing dashcam but kept getting an error that it was too slow. So, you will need a sufficiently fast memory card for this camera. Thankfully, they are not expensive for smaller cards. I like that whenever there is a sudden movement on the vehicle, it will trigger to keep the recording. I think the intention is to keep recordings if you are in an accident or if someone hits the vehicle. It is a bit sensitive and triggers whenever I hit a pothole or speed bump but I imagine that can be adjusted in the settings if I wanted to. The app is pretty good. It allows you to connect via WiFi to the camera to view the recordings and if you want, to download them to the phone. I use the same app for the motorcycle dash cam, and it's pretty good. I had previously used a less expensive dashcam from Costco that was OK, but this one is much nicer and has nicer features as well as higher resolution. I'm happy that Vantrue offered the unit for me to review, and I'm happy with the product. I would definitely recommend this specific camera as well as the brand. Great product

Vantrue is a quality and reputable brand
Here’s my review of the Vantrue N4 Pro 4K 3 Channel Dash Cam: Setting up the dash cam was a breeze, similar to other models. You’ll need to connect a wire from the front windshield to a cigarette lighter outlet for power. Alternatively, you can opt for the optional hardwire kit ($20) that attaches to the fuse box. This is a great choice if you want to use the parking mode feature to record continuously while parked. Another wire connects the front camera to the rear camera, allowing all three cameras to record onto a single micro SD card. The front module features both front and rear-facing cameras. The front-facing camera can be set to 4K for enhanced video quality, which is ideal for reading license plates. However, higher-quality video requires a larger memory card, so ensure you choose the appropriate one. 128-256Gb should be enough to a week or two of video. I purchased a SanDisk High Endurance micro SD card ($15-20). The High Endurance line is suitable for dash cams as it’s made for frequent writing to memory and wider temperature range than basic cards - good if your car experiences very hot or very cold climates. Vantrue is renowned for producing high-quality products. This is my second Vantrue camera. Before that, I had another brand that worked well, but unfortunately, the company went out of business and stopped updating the app. After a few iOS updates, the app no longer allowed me to connect to the dash cam. Since I had purchased a model with no buttons except for power, it became completely useless. This Vantrue model, on the other hand, has buttons, allowing you to change settings without connecting to your phone. After connecting your cellphone to the dash cam using WiFi, the app is user-friendly. You can also update the firmware (software) for the dash cam through the app to keep it up-to-date. Overall, I’m satisfied with this model after a week of use. It’s crucial to purchase a reputable brand like Vantrue to ensure the longevity of the app and customer support.

Awful
Became a very expensive paperweight by 11 months into ownership. I contacted customer support about warranty but after reading other reviews I have very little faith. Way too expensive to stop working completely and not power on at all anymore within less than a year. Even if they send a replacement, I don’t have any faith in it lasting even a year. For how expensive this dashcam is it should last well past the 18 months warranty period. It also seemed to run very hot, had slow card issues, and would intermittently stop working, which the slow card issue seemed to be remedied with a 512gb sd card. It missed a few important issues like me being harassed and whatnot without me realizing until after the fact. I will never purchase another Vantrue product again & quite frankly given how big of an issue this appears to be there probably should be a class action lawsuit. This is insane, I opted for this one because I was under the impression that at the price point I was getting a quality product, but that turned out to be false. Also, I don’t live in an area that gets so hot that it should be running as hot as it did most of the time, I’m in PA. It seemed to overheat even in cooler temperatures as well.

Camera good, adhesive mount not so much.
Camera seem to be of decent quality, heavy feel to it, clear picture and license plates comes out readable which have been hard to find with other cameras I have tried. I paired with the hard-wire with low battery detection. I do wish that the camera had its own battery supply as well just in case the cars battery would "die", just as an insurance. The camera set up and settings is easy to understand, you can set it up directly from the camera or through their app which I find much easier and that is easy to connect to. If you do not use a SD-card and are connected to your phone you can still download and save videos directly to your phone which is nice. What I find extremely annoying is that the "3M" adhesive mounting tape will not stay up or hold the camera, it keeps falling off which the seller seems to know since you will get an extra, but that is just as crappy as the first so why even bother, it makes me question if it actually is 3m adhesive since their tapes usually sit like a weld once adhered. Other than that it is a great set up and I am pleased as long as I can find a way to make this stay up. it defeats its purpose if it sits on the seat when you get to your car later. Update: after owning and using this system for about 5 months, I have figured out what I needed to do to keep the camera mount stuck to the window. I have realized that the problem is the plastic the mount is made from, it has a very "silk-smooth" finish which for some reason will make any adhesive "reject" adhesiveness, so I sandpapered the plastic and "dulled" it, cleaned it and then just super-glued it straight to the glass and now finally it has a great bond and seem to stay put. I have however noticed some other "minor issues" with what I believe is the software of the cameras, the chosen POV's have a tendency to switch in to default while driving which is a bit annoying to keep switching back, after as recent software update it does seem to remember the POV after booting but it will switch here and there. The front camera also for some reason decide to take event screenshots from out of the blue while standing completely still but also while driving which I get but at a standstill I am not sure what triggers it. The rear camera after awhile while loose picture all together and I either have to unplug and re-plug the cord alternatively reboot the camera fort it to restart the camera picture. I am not sure if this is a hardware or a software issue but it was not corrected by the recent software update so I am leaning towards hardware issue. Other than this the camera is still a decent purchase, however, for the price I am expecting a bit more reliable system and I will try to connect with Vantrue to see what they say about this and if this is just a "Monday item" or if this is a known issue with out resolution. I will update again if or when I get an answer to this. So I am sticking to a weaker 4 stars at this time.

Happy with this product it does what they say it does.
Over all these three camera's work great. Real simple setup its set to the highest recording settings on all three camera's. The front 4K camera works good. The image is nice and clear and even the night view of the front camera looks good. I have only needed to pull video twice now in the past ten months so I just pull the SD card out and play it back on a computer. I tried the app but it needed GPS on on my phone to connect to the system. I think it more of an Android Google thing so Google can track everything. So I dont use the app at all I just do the programming right from the unit. One problem I dont like about it is the fact is it uses USB connectors to connect the front camera to the back one. I hit the back unit by accident and the USB snapped off. Lucky only the cable broke not the port in the camera. It would be nice if they built a different connection then USB. But overall it works great and I am happy with it.

Uso e instalación fácil. Imágenes/videos no tan nítidos.
