* This has auto empty and I consider it a game changer. * Mopping - I have a dog so we bring in a lot of grime. Reviews show that there isn’t much difference between an agitating/vibrating mop head and rotating ones. However to me it just makes sense that a rotating mop is more effective, so that’s what I went with. It should also lift itself up so it’s not dragging around wet/dirty pads. * Onboard water tank (for mopping) - the T20 doesn’t have this. My primary thought on this is that this is one less thing that breaks or gets clogged. The T20 returns to its base for cleaning the mops and a soak. So this is probably not necessary. You can set the T20 to clean/soak the mop heads every 6, 10, or 15 mins. I set it to 6 minutes and when it returns to base the floors are still damp, so this is fine. * Auto drying - I’ve read about stinky mop heads because they were left wet. These mop heads are small and thin so I don’t see why they don’t dry overnight. OK fine I have this feature so no biggie. * Warm water washing - I haven’t tested this yet but supposedly the water heats to 55C and this is hot enough to kill things. At a minimum it helps clean the pads better than cold water. * Removable bay for cleaning- The T20 bay is fixed. You can pull out the filter to wash it but that’s it. It comes with an extendable brush for cleaning and you can manually fill it up with water brush it and suck it back to the dirty water container. Some of the other companies have a removable tray for rinsing off, this is nice. * Security cam - privacy issues aside, I really wanted a roaming security camera. Sadly the T20 doesn’t have this. * Noise - I don’t want it too noisy. Quiet and Standard are at a decent level. Strong and Max are approaching hand vac levels. I probably would not fall asleep with it in quiet mode in the adjacent room. Also I have not tested the effectiveness of quiet mode. That said, I’ll get in the habit of starting it when I leave for a dog walk making the noise it makes moot. The auto empty feature is plug in vacuum loud, fortunately it is only a few seconds. The mop washing is somewhat noisy, but not terrible. * Suction power - I need to do more testing between quiet and max. In my research I do know that I wanted in the range of 5000Pa. I’m guessing over this is negligible differences. In 2023 the T20 takes the lead with 6000Pa level of suction. * Pre-filter - in the dust bin there is the primary dust filter. In front of this is another layer of mesh helping keep the main filter clean. I like this idea and not many robots have it. The T20 has it. I believe Dreame also has this. From what I’ve read, roborock does not have a pre-filter. * Pop off brushes - The T20 side brushes are nylon push on type. The mop heads also push on. The floating main brush snaps in with two slider tabs. Very easy. I heard roborock uses screws for the side brushes. As an example my gf’s hair wrapped around the side brush and all I had to do was pop it off to remove the hair. Simple! My understanding is that silicone side brushes are more effective than the plastic/nylon type. I’ll note this as an upgrade option for later. * The T20 has a full rubber V shaped brush head. This is supposedly more resistant to hair tangling and good for hard floors. * Floor cleaner additive - I like the idea of having a canister of antibacterial cleanser. The Dreame and Narwal have this. The Omni bay has the space for it, but it’s blanked out. The T20 uses this section as storage. * Object avoidance - it seems that the rgb camera systems are best but pretty much everything in the > $500 point are about the same. “Generally ok.” * Customer Service - please note this is a single data point!! I emailed ecovacs and got a response next day. I sent Roborock two separate emails one 6/29 days ago and the other 7/3 days ago. No response. * The Omni bay is huge! Make sure you have the space for it and good luck hiding it. I prefer the narrower Dreame Ultra bay or the RR Revo bay. * The build quality is great. Despite the top not being on a hinge it is magnetic with a satisfying click in place. Ultimately this is a $1k luxury item. If you want all the bells and whistles then you can expect to be in this range. This is not the most expensive bot, but it's certainly not cheap either!

After owner this product for over a year now, I can confidently say that this product and company should be avoided. With the vast amount of options for over priced vac/mop robots on the market, this $700 paper weight and the terrible excuss making customer service the company provides will literally have you going in circles to where you just give up waiting on the company to stand by their product and make right what is inherently wrong. The list of things that go wrong with this model in particular seem to stem from a few core issues. The biggest one? The mop pads will not stay attached to the bottom of the robot. Consistently falling off every job. Either one side or the other not spinning at all, unable to lift it pads to clear even the smallest of area rugs that are less then 3mm tall. I should have listened more closely to others reviews of this product before I purchased mine. Like others have said, you will more than likely find the robot shut down, battery worn out, with a completely unfinished job one room in. It takes absolutely nothing to stop this robot. The other problem is obviously the glitchy app and or firmware that these use. Enjoy spending an hour setting the parameters up within the app just for it all to disappear the next time you open the app. The Third worst problem with this model is the company that stands behind it. They have been unhelpful, borderline insulting, and just like the others that stated, they will not back up their product. This is basically been a nuisance and is the absolute worst Floor Care robot I've ever owned. I have owned and or purchased for other family members a total of eight different ones throughout the years from different companies. Please take heed of this review. It'll save you a lot of money and frustration.

This is probably 1 of the best vacuum cleaners I've ever owned. Although the price is steep, it is definitely worth it. I work almost 80 hours a week, and this saves me much time in terms of cleaning the house. This vacuum cleaner runs multiple times daily and will mop and dry its little brushes multiple times in one run. 1 of the best things is the autodetection feature which will detect things and move around them. I love the fact that my dog can sit, and the vacuum cleaner will not bother him. There is also the carpet section which works pretty much accurately. There is some wetness at the edges of my carpet but that is to be expected with robot vacuum cleaners. This is most likely residual wetness from the mopping future next to the hardwood. One great thing is it's quick mapping feature which I have shown a screenshot of it quick mapping my house. The only downside is you have to add furniture but this is more aesthetic than functional. I have quick map my house multiple times as a move furniture and it only takes probably 10 minutes for it to map the entire house. I also like that it continues to map with time and gets better as it does more runs. You can also edit the map in order to create more rooms and divide your house into sections. Put my old robot vacuums I usually had to stay in the house in case it gets stuck. But this has so far been good where I usually don't have to stay in my home and I can let it run and do its thing without having to worry that it will get stuck. I highly recommend this to everyone especially those who hate cleaning floors this will change the game.

Now that I have owned this over a year, I am updating my review. I continue to enjoy the Omni T20, but there are days it is incredibly frustrating. Pros: It does a great job of cleaning. -Easy to maintain with the app prompting you when it needs attention and how to clean it. -The app is 75% user friendly. This score because it often takes a half hour to fix a glitch see cons. -The clean and dirty water tanks hold a lot. -Through the app, you have a lot of control over how it cleans, such as, vac only, mop and vac, vac twice, mop only, standard, heavy, quiet, and so on. -The dust bag holds a lot, but wow is that thing loud when the vacuum empties into it. -The battery holds a long charge. I have a 1200 sq ft home. If I have it mop and vac the whole house, it takes several hours and will return to the station, once or twice to recharge. You have control over the frequency of returning to station to charge. -I like that it cleans and dries the mopping pads. That definitely keeps them smelling clean. They are removable and can be tossed in the laundry. That is nice too. -The app will save up to 3 maps. You can label rooms and set up boundaries. You can also draw a custom area if you want only one area cleaned. Cons: these are repetitive and annoying -The map randomly disappears. Even if you back it up, it seems to be lost. I have found that if you give up and wait a few hours, it might reappear. I think it’s a website glitch -I have had to have it remap the whole house 3 times in the past year. -There are times, the vacuum moves a foot away from the station and then signals that it can’t find the area it is to clean. It even does this in the room it is to clean. Again, I think this is a connectivity glitch. -Switching to a different map is supposedly as easy as selecting the map. I have yet to have it go that easy. You have to make sure the machine and app are convinced that it has finished a previous job. I have yet to figure out an easy way to do this. -THE MOPPING PAD FALLS OFF, STOPPING THE VACUUM IN IT’S TRACKS. This is the most irritating thing ever and it happens often. - The vacuum does a poor job transitioning from hard surface to low pile area rugs. It either grabs the rug and traps itself or the mopping pad falls off. It falls off backing into and coming out of the station. Popping that thing back on takes several tries. Which makes me question if it is so difficult to put on, why is it so easy to fall off? -It will struggle over floor changes such as hardwood to tile if there is a slight height difference. It eventually makes it as long as the mopping pad will doesn’t fall off. The mopping pads leave the edges of rugs pretty wet. They do lift, but snot well enough to transition from hard floor to rug. -Cleaning the station requires you to be floor level. I mean almost on your belly. That would be a no go for someone who can’t get up/down from the floor. The station gets gross and does need cleaned. -the vacuum is starting to emit a high pitched ringing noise. It isn’t signaling that something needs attention, so I don’t know why it’s making this sound, but it hurts my ears. I’ve cleaned it and made sure the filters are new and sealed well. The filters are enclosed in a plastic case. That definitely is a stupid design and contributes to landfill waste. To summarize: it does a fantastic job cleaning. The app and connectivity have some issues that can leave you frustrated. The mopping pad falling off is the most irritating thing ever. It has continued to run well. I bought it at a much much higher price than it is currently being sold. For the current price, it is probably worth putting up with the annoyances. For the price I paid, it isn’t gyro be replaced anytime soon, but I would not pay that price again for the same model. Initial review: I just received this today; therefore, I cannot comment on long term use, but so far, it has been fantastic. I have a Deebot that is several years old and it still works, but eventually started smashing into furniture. I have 2 dogs and they are both messy eaters. I am constantly mopping my floors. I was excited for this Deebot to be released. It was very easy to set up and get running. The instructions were easy to follow. I had to download an app, but everything has an app these days. After charging the system, I sent the robot out to map my house. Once it was mapped, I named the rooms and was able to divide areas to allow more specific cleaning. The mapping is fairly accurate. I then started the cleaning. It transitioned from wood to rug well. I noticed that some edges of the rug are damp, but it makes sense. When you see it in action, it is doing well to adjust to half on and half off the carpet. The app is easy to use. I was able to set parameters for cleaning and it gives a few options. The voice commands worked well. I was able to tell it to mop the kitchen and entry and it did just those areas. You can have more than one map. You can tell it to only clean a specific area. You are able to tell it to pause or return to base. The video might make it sound loud, but it isn’t. I haven’t tried, but I believe I could watch TV while it is running. People could definitely have a conversation. . I wish I could upload more videos, but Amazon only allows one. Based on today’s experience, I would recommend the device. It’s a new product and I can’t speak about longevity, but my old less sophisticated Deebot is still working.

I installed the new T20 and it mapped out my 2000 sqrft condo. It is not that big and easy to map out. Here are the following issues I have been seeing since I bought it: 1. The Deebot mapped out the house but trying to separate areas has been a challenge, it will not let me separate some of the areas. 2. The 3D mapping is not that great, it does not map the walls and the doors properly, so the map has never been 100% accurate. 3. I started using the device and it never really makes the vacuuming more efficient, it is like every time that I use it vacuums not remembering where it is so it crashes everywhere and even my 950 device is quicker and more accurate than this one. It does not maintain a pattern and goes every time do different random areas. Which btw are not dirtier or anything that would trigger different routes. 4. The 3D sensors are not working properly, and the obstacle detection is not very good. It hits all the walls all the time, furniture, it actually goes into areas that are clearly not accessible, it goes into areas that are too tight, actually the top cover is all scraped and damaged because of all of this malfunctions. Pictures attached. Plus, once it gets stuck there the device turns off and does not even warn me. These pictures were taken today. So, the 3D recognition is not working. I asked the device to go to a specific area and it gets off the the chargers and started roaming around the charger for 5 minutes before even going to the area, and it bumps to stuff. 5. The maps are not accurate and randomly just go crazy. Today I sent it to go to a specific area and it started generating a map from the current map. I screenshot the map. Summary The device is not working well, paying 1200 bucks on a device that is working less accurately than my 4-year-old 950 device is not acceptable. I would like you guys to let me know what I can do to either get my money back or get a device that works properly.

The product is vaccum is the same as a old roomba but this one has a mop function. The negative on the mop is constantly filling up the water and emptying the dirty. If you don't it will stink up the room. The mopping is decent when it works. Sensors don't work because if you add any new furniture such as a new chair or even a christmas tree the robot won't detect it and just run into and any wires or small items will clog the robot. The worse part is the app. The app works great for 80% of the time. But if you want to cancel a job its a nightmare to get it to go back and try to change to mopping or rooms. And that is because they don't have a cancel button for current job. The worse part about the app/robot is that it constantly says can't find selected area even though its literally just got out of its docking station. If you pick up the robot to bring it back to the docking station it won't like it because that is where i get most of my errors for selected area not found the next time i try to clean my house. Then it corrupts the app and your house map that was working fine now no longer works and says incomplete for some reason. If you have a room that has stairs then you will have to lift the robot to get it there and back but again this causes issues.

This is quite an impressive piece of equipment. But I can't recommend it, and I have to return it now. Here's what I see: Pros: The robot hardware is very well designed, has the ability to vacuum and mop during the same run. Can even raise the mop quite high so that when it goes over a carpet it avoids getting it wet. The auto-clean station is very capable. Really cleans the dirt out using powerful suction whenever the robot vacuum returns. It also cleans the mopping pads with heated water in order to get the best sanitization before the the robot continues mopping. Support: Pretty quick response time (see below for the cons about support) Cons: The robot is not intelligent enough. It spends an inordinate amount of time trying to get around things. I have an older Roborock that has much more intelligent movement. The roborock would get into a tight spot and pretty quickly get out. The Deebot doesn't get out quickly. Eg, it goes into the tight spot, and then slowly starts to turn to try to get out. It attempts to dislodge itself 5 or 6 times each time rotating slightly, then when it's pretty close to getting out, it decides to start that process over. Doh! It just keeps repeating the same sequence. The robot also has no recall of which paths to take to get anywhere. The docking station is near my dining room table. When I ask the robot to clean a room, it constantly takes the same path through the dining room chairs. This takes so long. The app is also missing lots of functionality: 1. No manual control - Roborock allows me to take control of the vacuum and make it move like a remote control car. This was very useful if I needed to clean a quick spot. It would also be useful to get the robot around my dining room table. 2. Can't schedule both vacuum-only and vacuum-mop sessions. Eg, I want vacuuming on Monday, and Friday, and I want vacuum and mopping on Wednesday. Can't do this - it doesn't give you that choice when creating the schedule. This should be trivially possible as there's no physical change required. It's just an app limitation. I confirmed this issue with support. 3. Can't split apart rooms properly. We have a large open concept kitchen, office, and dining room. When I try to split the rooms apart, I just get errors. Why? Bugs, yes, but also functionality issues. Eg, you can only split apart a room if the requisite straight line you add creates two distinct areas. You can't use two straight lines if you want to split 1/4 of a larger square (just one corner). See image. The app won't allow that. 4. No custom room names. You can only use the names that they've provided. See images. I confirmed with support on this. 5. Getting to the support page is cumbersome. Since the app is meant to support a ton of different hardware by this manufacturer, you have to go through multiple steps to send them a request. And then they don't even know what device you're talking about until you tell them. 6. No ability to run the vacuum in standalone mode on another floor. The software should allow for this. After I brought it up to the second floor, I was able to have it perform quick mapping. Then it just got stuck for 10 minutes searching for a dock which wasn't there until I aborted the process. Given that I was trying to only vacuum and not mop, and it wasn't a huge area, it should be possible to just vacuum. It isn't possible. Support: 1. Lots of features aren't supported, and they don't appear to have any plan to support them. All of the items mentioned above were mentioned to support. The response is just: that's not supported. I even asked about ETA about adding in custom room names. There's no ETA. No indication that they will add any of the missing features.

I'm one of those I never leave a review type. I also don't usually spend this much money on Amazon so I thought I would share my feedback after 7 months of use. I'll start by saying I love this thing. My floors are always in tip top shape now. The vacuum suction is as advertised. The mopping is also terrific, I've only had a vacuum one before so I don't have a reference to another one. I'm assuming the hot water makes a big difference because unless something is caked onto my floor it'll clean it. Now the app.. the layout and the functions are built out very well.l in my opinion. Problem is it doesn't always function properly all the time. I have to restart the app a lot of times and it is very annoying. Sometimes I'll restart it in the middle of a session and then it has to redo a whole session again. I still gave this a five star because the robot vac/mop works that well. And that's really the reason that anybody is considering buying this thing right? So if you're wondering if this thing works well, absolutely it does. If you want an app that works just as well, maybe tamper your expectations a bit. Luckily I feel that can be corrected over time with some updates. For the love of God ecovac invest more money in the maintenance of your app please and thanks :)

J’ai acheté un robot aspirateur de cette compagnie via Amazon, et mon expérience a été désastreuse. Le premier appareil est tombé en panne après seulement quelques semaines d’utilisation. La pompe qui aspire l’eau propre a cessé de fonctionner correctement, bien que le mécanisme semblait s’activer. Après un long processus d’échange avec le service client (qui demandait sans cesse des informations répétitives et inutiles), j’ai reçu un appareil de remplacement. Malheureusement, ce second appareil est tombé en panne après trois mois, présentant exactement les mêmes problèmes. Le service après-vente propose uniquement des réparations ou des remplacements, mais il est évident que le modèle est défectueux et non durable. Malgré mes demandes répétées pour un remboursement intégral, leur politique semble rigide et peu orientée vers la satisfaction client. Je ne peux plus faire confiance à cette compagnie ni à leurs produits. C’est une perte de temps, d’énergie et d’argent. Je déconseille fortement cette marque à quiconque cherche un appareil fiable et un service client compétent.

I love having the vacuum and mop combo rather than just the vacuum. The space looks fully cleaned when it is done and there are no streaks on my hardwood floors. I like that the mop pads are washable and not pads that you need to discard. The unit works well in the areas it can reach but it leaves a 4-6 inch gap along the walls and doesn’t get under the cabinets (toe-kick area) in the kitchen even though the unit is able to fit under easily. This is my chief complaint. Not sure if I would buy this brand next time.
