Aftershock (Terran Scout Fleet Book 5)

I really like his writing style. Perfect for this genre. Fast, to the point, fun to read, super action, great characters (except : where are the woman ? romance and sex are totally absent, a sprinkle of it would make these very macho warriors even more credible). The galactic setting is great and not overdone or too bombastic. There are no radically new concepts or tech, but it all feels natural and logical and there are no lengthy pseudo-scientific explanations of how things work. They just do and that fits well with these books. The plot twists and turns, surprises pop up but the overall direction remains clear. Every new story builds seamlessly on the previous. I am eagerly awaiting the next one. Great series !

This was an easy read with a great story line. The series continues to be interesting and fun to read.

I've been reading this series. I didn't know Joshua Dalzelle had a series, that these books were a spin-off of. And yes I'll be reading those very ,very soon!!! But for now its on to book #6 in this series. If your a sci-fi nut like me. Well, you need to get started on these. Happy reading!!!

Was a fun book and series that kept me glued to plot and series! With connected min I stories all woven into the plot.

The plot of this story is very engaging, with action and mystery throughout. The author does an outstanding job with this series, leading the reader through galaxy saving adventures with a Space Force (space Marine Recon) unit. The descriptive narration, and plot development are exemplary! The character interaction is classic Marine Recon.

What an entertaining, thrilling, compelling read! I couldn't put it down. The characters are so well written and the story develops so smoothly, but still kept me wondering and wanting more. Fantastic book!

Great book with a great pace. It’s very good follow on from the previous novel and keeps adding colour and dimension to the author’s universe. Very worth the time to read and extremely enjoyable.
