Great machine, for beginners and experienced sewers alike!
It's important for me to mention that I do not know how to sew with a machine yet. I've always done my alterations by hand. I decided to invest in a good quality semi basic machine that I could have for years to come. This is the perfect machine for that. It's not too complicated, it's very easy to use, it was a good value for the money, And the black color is very fun. I have a friend coming over this weekend to show me how to use it and I'm excited to learn more about how to sew! It offers multi speed functions and a high quality stitch. It has a nice way to it and it's very sturdy and well-made. The machine came with many accessories as part of the bundle and I don't know how to use any of them, but I'm excited to learn.

Machine Dead at 7-months
This machine is made by what I thought was the best maker of sewing machines: Singer. After 7-months it’s not working anymore. I took it into a repair center and it’s $150 minimum to repair. The warranty on parts and labor is only 90-days. It’s probably not covered. To ship it to Singer Service Center for a “Hail Mary” repair request is at minimum $50. If they consider it covered by warranty, then I get the shipping back, otherwise I’m out that money and have to pay to get the broken machine sent back or pay more to have out of warranty repair done. Basically once it’s dead you have to pay more than it cost originally to get it fixed. Oh - and Power - states it’s Heavy Duty but could not handle blue jeans with the proper denim needles. Easy to use and easy to break. Total waste of money and my daughter’s holiday gift is gone. Her love of sewing is on pause and I’m pretty upset about this purchase as you can see. Don’t buy it. Invest in a better machine. Do your research better than I did.

L❤️VE, LOVE, L❤️VE!!!
Thank You Singer!!!. .. for such a sturdy, simple to use & speedy machine!!! This is my 2nd heavy duty singer machine. I think they have great function & speed & are quite affordable for their quality. If you are looking for an easy to use, less complicated machine that works when you need it to sew. I would go with this machine. It is my favorite so far. ..

So glad I bought this
I am a beginner sewer and I had been trying to find the best machine for beginners. I read a lot of reviews, but finally decided on this one, not based on the reviews, but based on how it looks. I know that wasn’t the smartest reasoning, but I have to say, my gut reaction based on looks alone were a great factor for me. This machine is phenomenal. My sewing instructor was even impressed with how well this machine works. She was first putting doubts in my head by saying that Singer was not like it used to be and the new machines were inferior, but then she used it herself and said it was almost as good as her machine from Germany. This machine sewed easily through jeans, worked well on polyester and silk, and looks great on my sewing table. It was so easy to figure out how to thread and use. I have absolutely no reservations on this purchase.Looks great, works better. Buy this and see for yourself.

Ante broke don't fix it
Have been really disappointed with Singer . For changing one of the best modles around . My old stylist 524 was Perfect . Now the new changes have made things harder made more cheap . Bobbin cover is plastic instead of meddle, pretty much have to remove foot just to get it out , reverse button was better farther over to right . Self threader have trouble with it working all the time , no good up close videos on how it really works kinda Luck of the draw . If they hadnt lower hight i could thread it myself the shorting of the height makes it alot harder but u didnt need self threader . The cover is like the paper shorts from doctors office , actually I bleve their heavier, Lol. For new I guess it will due . Don't need all those sewing styles either . It dose work Fine
