Q: Sent a message to Eyekepper over a week or so ago - no response. Glasses have fallen apart within a wk - anybody know where to get the unusual screw?

Mine fell apart too. No luck with screw so tried gorilla glue which worked for a while. These specs are so cheap I guess you get what you pay for

Im not sure what youre asking but.. as a whole, + (plus) lens usually for long sight - so corrects for reading whilst - (negative ) is for short sight and hence anything with a negative number lens eg. -2.5 , corrects for short sight and hence you wear to see long distance Anything with a plus, you wear to correct your eyes for reading Hope it makes sense

Q: What is the focal distance for these? i bought a pair of 1.0 glasses, but i have to be 30cm from the book/screen. i would prefer 60cm. possible?

You will probably need the 1.75
