It was great for this indoor girl!
First things first, I am no camper. The thought of sleeping outside has ZERO appeal to me. But my family thinks it’s the greatest thing ever so we tried out this tent. My husband was tasked with the setup and take down but as an observer, it seemed simple enough. I thought it was sized just right for myself, my husband and our son - but would not want to add anyone else. I think 4 adults might find the space too cramped for comfort. With the rainfly on and the entrance zipped, it was quite stuffy so I asked my husband to remove the top. We used it in fair weather so I can’t say how it would hold up in adverse conditions but it did just fine on a summer night. The zipper seemed to work flawlessly and didn’t stick. It looks great and I made it through the night without dying so I’m a fan. My husband thought the tent was roomy, super simple to set up and pack away and offered at a great price. He highly recommends.

Its a fair value for the price.
Lightweight, fairly easy to assemble, good for most occasional users.

Great size
Good size for a couple people, easy to assemble, I'm not sure that it would exactly comfortably sleep "4" people - you probably could - but I'd say 2- 3 people would be most comfortable in my honest opinion.

Good price for what it is
This is a nice tent with an easy to assemble set up. There are a few features that could be better but for the price, it is what it is. The top has a solid fly and without taking it off there isn't much ventilation or when it is off the whole sides are mesh. There is no window, so you have to take off the solid fly to get air. But you can unzip the door flap window, that is the only other option. Then there is no protection against rain if you have to go out the flap in the rain. Also, the material is thinner, but it does make it lighter weight. So, if you are not going to use it that much but need a lighter tent then this is not a problem. It will just probably wear faster than a thicker material. It is a nice sized tent for the price, and if you use it only a few times a year it should last a while.

Tents have come a long way
I can remember as a kid getting my first tent. It was a 6 person model. It was made from canvas, took an hour to set up, very heavy and if it rained you'd better not touch it or it would be certain to leak. To boot, it cost as much or more than the tents they sell today meaning that in today's dollars it would be about $900. This is one item that when I hear people complaining that "they don't make them like they used to" I say thank god. This tent, like all virtually all tents sold today, is lightweight, simple to set up (5 minutes tops), appears well made and easy to take down and repack. I've only used it twice now and each time the weather was good so I can't attest to how it will do in the rain in wind. I suspect it will be OK but until you actually experience inclement weather it's impossible to say. Bad weather exposes all the shortcomings of a tent so I wish I had experienced at least one before writing this review. The tent is rated for 4 persons but like every tent I've seen this is wishful thinking or you better plan on getting very friendly with you tent mates. Three is probably more like it and two if you want a more practical, enjoyable experience and a place to put your gear.

SLEEPING UNDER THE STARS IS SWEET
I snagged this UNP Camping Tent without a definite need or expected time frame for use. It was just a great deal. I live in Fort Lauderdale so I have plenty of time during the year to open this thing up and see what is what. First thing I noted was the light weight of the delivered package. Once unboxed the carry case is also noted to be very thin but also very strong, with smoothly operating zippers. The tent itself is supposed to hold 4 people but I think it would be too small for 4 adults. Maybe children would be better suited to use this in any kind of numbers. For adults with camping gear and supplies would not fit four. So, two adults or possibly 4 children. It is very easy to assemble and erect. Almost does it by itself it's so easy. There are lots of screened 'windows' and the door works without issues. You will definitely want to have the rain cover installed if not for weather then for privacy. I also prefer to use screw in ground anchors rather than their stakes in the ground. Makes it more stable in case of a hurricane. We get a lot of that here in south Florida. I would have liked the floor to be more thick, more substantial. Specifically when using cots to sleep on. Otherwise it has been a lot of fun having this pitched in the back yard for a few days. Now it gets to live in the rear cargo area of my Jeep Renegade filled with survival gear. Be prepared for the unexpected I always say.
