This works great for our 8 year old. It's a little tight on the hand but I think it needs to be pretty tight in order for it to not be slipped off during the night. If our child was defiant and wanted to take it off on their own, they definitely could, just a heads up. However, our child WANTS to stop thumb sucking at night and this has helped because when they try to do it in their sleep, it stops them. Overall, great product.

Most defunct does the job, fits well with a little room to grow in the thumb area. Easy enough to put on. I like that it came in a 4 pack so I have back hips. No more sucking or thumb

I don’t write many reviews, but I rely heavily on them when deciding to purchase something, so I thought I would share our experience. Our child is a little older and was still sucking his thumb while sleeping. We tried the nail polish and it was just a really negative experience. My child understood he needed to stop and was willing to use these. They have worked great for us so far and, fingers crossed, the habit will be completely broken soon. These would be very easy for a child to pull on and get the thumb out, so your child needs to buy into the plan. He thinks the print is cool and is young enough to think they are “fun”. My only criticism is that the wrist opening is very tight. The gloves would be easy to remove from the thumb and forefinger regardless, so I’m not sure why they made that so tight. Not uncomfortable when on, but just a tight squeeze putting them on. Overall though these have been what’s worked best for us so far! Much lower cost than some of the other gadgets aimed to help.

Definitely not sized for a 5-12 year old. Would give zero stars if I could.

We only received 3 gloves. Not 4. I’m sure if I did a return, I’d get all 4, but I’m not doing all of that for one glove. They fit my 6 year old well. We’ll see if it helps with her thumb sucking

These worked so well on one of my twins to help him stop sucking his thumb. He just randomly started and he was going to mess up his adult teeth that had just started coming in. These were worth every penny and I recommend them for thumb sucking.

Extremely tight in the wrist. My daughter complains the wrist irritates her skin. Seems like it runs too small. A lot of exposed rough part of the Velcro.

I’ve spent a lot of money on plastic thumb covers and this works amazing. It does fit a bit small but my 8 year old is able to get it off and on by himself

Practical design. Causes no sweating.

We’ve been using the polish and my daughter just got use to the taste. Decided to try these. Took some time to convince her to wear them but once you do they work well. Using a reward chart along with them. I was pleased with the quality and my daughter likes the color. Nice to have 2 pairs in case one goes missing. I would buy again.

These gloves have helped my 7 year old daughter to minimize sucking her thumb. We're still in the midst of her wearing the glove daily for her to completely stop, and 2 weeks in, we've noticed a huge improvement with her losing interest in her thumb. She enjoys wearing the glove anywhere we go, because it is bright pink. Gloves are as pictured.
