Expansive overview
Covers the basics. Many detailed maps and illustrations. You’ll have to go somewhere else for underlying analysis and causes but it gives you the outline of events and related figures

Can’t say enough about this book. It summarizes everything we learned in school into an interesting, easy to read, easy to follow format. It serves as a resource for us as well as relaxing, entertaining reading material. Our guests almost peruse it and ask where we got it.

A true timeline of world history
The book is amazing. If you've ever wondered about what happened when in history, what else was happening at the same time all over the world, if you want to see an actual timeline (although spread throughout the book), then this book is for you. I bought it for my husband, and he loves it. It's really an incredible bargain for the amount of research it took to put this together.

Good book and yet bad maintenance
The book arrived fast however it was in a deteriorated shape. I am slowly closing my account with Amazon.sa. Their department of quality check is closed perhaps. Everything I order from Amazon nowadays comes in low quality.
