This may not be designed as a pointer but she finds it works very well with the 'point to paint' artwork she likes to complete. In fact, I haven't really had a look-in since I asked her to try it. She says it is much easier to be accurate with this pointer's end, which makes me happy. In fairness I must say when she's using it to tap-tap on iPad Air, it is noisier than a conventional fabric tipped pointer. I think it has a good weight in your hand and looks as if it will last a reasonable time (it has a spare pointy end). It charges quickly enough, the USB-C port is convenient and the 'tap-tap' action on the pencil-end to start using it and turn off works well. As does the auto-turn off after 5 minutes. From our use, I'd say it was fit for purpose and, at a fraction of the cost of the real Apple Pencil, warmly recommended. I may even buy one for myself!
