The scale is unbelievably responsive—unlike cheaper scales, it has an instantaneous response time when you place something on it. It also stays on for longer than other scales. I haven't timed it, but it won't shut off for a while. Love the Coffee assist mode for easy calculation of coffee ratios. Makes dialing in the ratio so easy without having to pull out a calculator. Add in the built in timer, and it as everything you need. Great build quality and it looks nice as well.
