Outsize vs V8 vs Animal 2 Upright
I’ll start off with I went from Shark to Dyson a few years ago, and I’ll never go back. There’s just no comparison. This is my first cordless vacuum, I had the animal 2 upright, and the brush stopped rolling so we hopped on a Black Friday deal for the cordless to try something different. We also purchased the V8 to see which one we liked better. The V8 was good, it’s a smaller frame and was lighter, had good suction but not as strong as the Outsize, and the handle was more uncomfortable at the base of my thumb. The Outsize has stronger suction, is heavier but more comfortable for your hand. So between the V8 and the Outsize, Outsize won and we returned the V8 (V8 did do a good job and is a nice cordless btw). Between the upright that we had and the cordless experience, there’s a lot of pros and cons between the two. Overall suction, upright is gonna win. However, the Outsize suction is still amazing. We have a German shepherd and 2 long haired cats and Outsize is keeping up with the fur and dander no problem at all. In fact, because of the ease of vacuuming with a cordless I find myself vacuuming more often, so I think the fur and dander is actually less than before with the upright. The battery life isn’t bad at all. We have a 2200 sq ft house, downstairs is all hardwood with some area rugs and upstairs is all carpet. I can vacuum the entire house on one fully charged battery if it’s just a quick, once over keeping up kind of vacuuming and not thorough deep cleaning vacuuming. If it’s a thorough deep cleaning vacuuming, including using attachments and taking more time, I probably have to charge once in between floors. Using on area rugs and carpet uses more battery because it requires stronger suction, and upping the suction power drains it pretty quickly. I leave it on the auto suction and it works perfectly fine, I’ve used it on the stronger setting I think two times, more so to see the difference in suction. On carpet it does a perfectly good job. You’re gonna get decent carpet lines, not as deep as the upright did, but enough that you know it’s doing a good job. The attachments aren’t as good and strong as the upright, they work better on the strongest suction setting, that’s the only bummer of this cordless in my opinion. Also we have a roomba robot vacuum and I’ll be getting rid of that now, having a cordless is just as easy in my opinion, and does a better job. Lastly, it’s pretty quiet! We have a toddler and a baby and can easily run the vacuum during nap time and don’t have to worry that it’s going to wake them up, they don’t budge. Overall, we love this purchase and will probably stick with cordless over upright moving forward.

Best vacuum I've ever used
I have been putting off getting a vacuum for a long time because I have fear of better options - and I couldnt seem to commit to a brand or vacuum. So we had a cheap Walmart vac but that finally broke and I have two fluffy dogs, so I needed to figure it out.I finally decided to get a Dyson. But then which Dyson should I get? Well I ended up deciding on the outsize. Partially because of the size and I also heard it came with an extra battery. This package does NOT come with an extra battery which is disappointing because everywhere online claims all outsize models do. I am not sure why this package does not, but it was pretty clear to me that it wasn't coming with one based on the listing - so obviously no issue for me here. Just worth mentioning, still.Like I said, I have two fluffy dogs and a small house. I fill this thing up at least twice while cleaning. So I am glad I got the outsize. It is a little heavy but I am used to heavy vacs - this is my first real stick vac, so I don't even know what to compare it to in regards to size.I did end up buying a hose extension for it. I feel it will give me more freedom to reach things easierThis thing has drastically changed my life. As dramatic as that sounds. I've had it a week and I've been on cleaning sprees (which is much needed in my house tbh). I used this to clean my chinchillas cage which is always a chore for me that I put off far longer than I should - this vacuum made it simple! Though I need to be careful with the hay - because I did clog it (just the stick, not the vacuum). But I was 100% testing the capability and didn't expect it to do well (though I am impressed with how it did). Either way, I am impressed with the smart portion of this too. It will tell you if the airway is blocked or if the canister is too full.I can talk about it all day. If you're on the fence - this is the one. You can stop looking! Get it!

Best vacuum we have owned
The suction has 3 levels. And because it's so powerful, we have to use the lowest setting sometimes otherwise you can't even move the vacuum because it's "stuck to the floor". (but this is a good thing)It's not too heavy. The charge will last at least 30 minutes, which is plenty of time for our 3 rooms. The self-cleaning all the dog hair on the roller is a really good feature. No more cutting all the hair off with a blade. My only complaint is that the on/off button is a trigger that you have to keep pressed with your index finger as you hold the handle. We can find a way to wedge it in the on position, but we haven't done that yet. I would prefer an on/off button that stays in the on position.Still... this vacuum is pretty awesome. (it puts our Bissell to shame)

Powerful Refurbished Dyson—Great Suction, Musty Filter
I love the strong suction and maneuverability of this refurbished Dyson vacuum. The only downside is the top filter, which emits a moldy odor when running. Replacing the filter should solve it. Excellent performance and value otherwise!

I love this vacuum cleaner
It's a little heavy, but it picks up everything. I have cats and birds in the house so it takes care of cat hair, bird seed, bird dander, dust from cat litter. Not to heavy to take up and downstairs. I have bought many vacuum cleaners, but this is the only one that does what I need it to do. Easy to empty too, and no bags to buy. Really a great product, highly recommended, well worth the money, especially since I got it at a Prime Day price.
