A lot of baby gates have the little bottom ledge that you kind of have to step over. But we love this one because it doesn’t have any kind of ledge underneath it. It also opens all the way, which is really really nice if you’re trying to move stuff through it. And if it’s closed at all after being opened all the way, it will self close. It does close kind of hard, which makes me nervous so I just like to close it myself. It’s one of the best baby gates we’ve had. And I really recommend it because the kids are not figuring it out at all. You have to lift up a little bit to open it and so it’s nice cause my kids haven’t figured it out. And for anybody that has kids, you know the kids will figure out how to use the gate. I also like that it’s taller so that’s nice as well so the kids can’t climb it. It’s really sturdy and we love it. It doesn’t look weird being in the house at all. And we like the color. It’s just a nice crisp color. It’s not super heavy or bulky. But it’s sturdy. I would really recommend this gate and I think it’s really good for the price.

This is a well made gate. It’s relatively easy to install and adjust. It works well and opens and closes smoothly. It takes a bit of work to get the top latch lined up when you install it but once everything is lined up it will self latch easily. I like the dual action required to open it, it adds an extra layer of safety to keep crafty kids and pets on the correct side of the gate. It comes with a good assortment of hardware so that it can be installed in a wide range of areas. Mine came with a set of spacers that made it a breeze to set the correct height and adjusting the width is pretty easy. Overall this is a solid baby gate that provides a good value.
