I have a RV1250 Tripp-Lite inverter and installed in my 36' RV. It supplies power to my entertainment system including surround sound system, other TV's and a residential frig/freezer. It's very important to be able to monitor load and battery condition at all times. The inverter is in a storage compartment under the coach so being able to see the inverter status requires a trip outside. With the APSRM4 those days are gone! The connecting cable is supplied with 50' of freedom from inverter to any point in most applications. The remote also allows you to switch the inverter into a charge only position so that when you are either hooked up to shore power or you have the generator running the inverter is only maintaining the battery level with its built in charger. Fantastic accessory, as I said it should be part of the inverter when you make the purchase. Not as a free-be but it should be included, it is invaluable! A must have for sure!

This remote works great, added a new dimension to the way we were using inverters. The remote gives you several options as to how you use it, We use it to turn the Inverter on and off with the ignition of a diesel powered compressor. That function works great but it also monitors the power levels on the Battery that our alternator is feeding. We love it.

The control panel was easy to install but a little larger in appearance then what I had imagined. It provides the information for monitoring the inverter and charger function. Shipping was fast and the item arrived in good condition.

I purchase this in May. installed it in August. one month of using this remote worked fine except the LED lights stopped working the remote still works I can turn the inverter on and off but no more lights very disappointed.

First class unit. It's reserve power powers a 18 cu ft 3 door residential refrigerator, a 17 cu ft chest freezer and a 3 cu ft basement freezer in a large RV. If you need a remote control then this one works great. I just do not like the high price. It is however just plug in and use, so most people will like the ease of hooking it up. Have used a previous one for over a year with no problems.

We installed this unit on a boat, primarily as a charger on a large house bank. It's a little confusing when the display only has three LED's that flash and change colors. We were used to a one line digital display that displayed written words on our old unit. Simple and inexpensive is good as we can report no issues to date.
