The key here is to know this is the type of storage you're looking for. If you know, then this is a good product at a good price. If you're looking for moderate or greater security or theft deterrence this isn't it. If you're looking for moderate or greater durability this isn't it. This is not a safe, nor is it a firesafe-grade protector of its contents. If you're looking for a place to store small items and keep kids or nosy friends/family out, or something to set on the table in front of you at a yard sale, you are not likely to find a better item for the price (unless it's one of the other several brands which seem to be using this same item from the same manufacturer). It's essentially thin sheet metal with a plastic knob and a very basic adjustable 3-digit combo lock. Because it's steel it's got a relative degree of durability--if you put it under a 20 gallon rubbermaid tote full of books during a move, the contents will most likely come out fine. If you drop that same rubbermaid from the second floor onto it... Well, I wouldn't make any promises. As a reasonably fit adult male I would probably be able to break this open with a large flathead screwdriver in ten minutes or less. Anyone should be able to get in with a drimmel in probably even less time. All of that said, I would like to also convey that this is slightly thicker than most of the thin sheet metal boxes I've seen, the edges are all well-rounded so I haven't had to be careful not to cut myself, the hinges are internal to the box (which is not as common as you might think on a box that would bother to have a lock on it), the handle is very solidly attached to the box such that I don't think you could fill it with anything dense enough that the handle would separate when you lift it, and even the very basic combo lock is visibly higher quality than comparably-targeted combo locks. The only thing that superficially appears "cheap" is the plastic knob. And even that doesn't have any apparent low-quality artifacts like sharp parallel lines of plastic on either side from a cheap mold. For what it is meant to be, it's actually quite good quality at a very good price and if it meets your needs you won't regret the purchase. If anything I've said has dissuaded you then you probably need to be looking for a safe or firesafe.

Good size for keeping cash and small valuables organized. The combination lock is easy to use, and the handle makes it convenient to carry.

OK first, it is what it is. It's a box that locks. Having said that here's what I like / dislike: Like: It feels very well made, it is not light, but not too heavy either, but definitely sturdy. Not something one can just easily smash to get inside. The lock mechanism is easy to understand and change if needed. Finally, it has a plastic drawer inside for small items, which can easily be removed if you need to use the full space for larger items. Dislike: It feels secure but not for someone who know what he's doing. The lock mechanism feels very basic - good for everyday purposes but probably not for something extremely important and high-stakes. It's also easy for someone to just steal as is - It cannot be attached somewhere like safe boxes. Finally, the space could be somewhat larger for my taste.

This was perfect for what I needed. I did not need the tray but was able to use it for another purpose.

I ordered and received my lock box in a very timely manner. It arrived on time brand new in the packaging wrapped in plastic. It came in am Amazon box then inside of the actual packaging. All pieces were there. It came with a removable black cash tray but I don’t need that. The box is huge. As you can see in the picture above, that white paper is the size of a normal sheet of white computer paper so this is a very large box. I can fit at least 35 medication bottles and they’re all standing upright as for the lock, it is a combination lock with three numbers. Inside the packaging there is a piece of paper that has instructions how to set your own combination with those three numbers. To lock the box you close the box turn the wheel and put the combination numbers on a random number. Then to open your box, you put the three numbers on your combination numbers then you turn the wheel in the box opens. I ordered the color pink and it’s a nice color pink. also, there is a metal carry handle at the top which makes it nice. This is a metal box and it seems to be of good sturdy metal. Also, you are able to change the combination lock if you need it too. I would definitely recommend this box and I think this will last me a very long time. If I need it to purchase again, I would definitely purchase this product again.

I bought three of theses- one for each of my 8 year old grandchildren. The were constantly stealing each others' pokemon cards! My solution was to give them a lock box. In theory it was a great idea. The combination was easy to customize but you need a fair amount of dexterity to do so. it has a try inside as well which depending on the use could come in handy. However, after having to change the combination about 3 times because, well, kids were involved after all, the lock mechanisms gave out. For the price paid, it isn't a bad purchase. I would not recommend if you are looking for true security- perhaps it would be better as a deterrent to keep children away from sharp scissors or to keep track of things like stamps that tend to disappear readily in a household. For the price paid, I didn't expect too much so I am not dissatisfied

Good value - does what it says. Big enough for what I need and small enough to be mobile (the coin drawer prevents the coins from flying around which happens es with my bigger cash box). I love that I don’t have to carry a key around.

The lock broke only after 3 uses.

Probably easy to break or just to find the combination since there's only 1000 possibility, doesn't matter, it's just for storing keys. I actually like this safe a lot, simple, easy to open, no need to carry a key to open it. Just don't put too much valuable stuff in it, depends on what you need.

This works as expected. It won't stop a determined thief from opening the lock, but it's a good simple lock box. The instructions to change the combination were very clear.
