The zipper keeps the phone enclosed but a quick unzip and I can get my phone out to take a picture! Also a small pocket inside for a key and/or credit card. An elastic strap inside the case keeps the phone in place but my phone cover is "rubbery" so may snip this out for easier use. Tried just the phone (no cover) and felt the elastic strap fit perfect. Also good for a smaller phone. An extra arm strap is included to lengthen the arm band - perfect to wear this over a jacket or for larger arms. I like to strap this case to my wrist, the case cradled in my hand and the phone in the case upside down - easier to use the phone. Just make sure the zipper is closed!
