Minimal use and it’s now ate a cd and shorting out. Does not work in a useable state. Powers right off and makes sizzling noise, fire hazard!

I've had this for about a week now and so far, so good. The sound quality is surprisingly good for such a small unit. It's not going to knock your socks off, but I use it in my bedroom and it is more than adequate. The remote control can be a little tricky, trying to pre-set radio stations takes some patience and several attempts. Overall I'm very pleased.

Unfortunately, I must return this product. It works quite well as advertised, but eight buttons on the Remote spontaneously also turn on a nearby [LG-Model 22LJ4540 (non-"smart")] television set, and I've found no way to prevent it, other than holding the clicker right next to this radio, which effectively means the Remote is useless. The design problem may well be LG's fault (since the TV responds to 8 DIFFERENT clicker buttons), but there's no way to tell. If further investigation turns up a workaround I'll probably re-order the same radio, but absent a cure, I'll have to find something else and hope it doesn't do the same thing.

Unit will not turn back on after being shut off. It turns on and shuts right back off. Bought in Late Nov. 2023

I wanted a a good radio. My stereo system was huge and took up so much room especially with the speakers and I was not getting good reception. My CD player was broken. I have a small house and I just did not need all that equipment. This turned out to be perfect for me.

So far so good. The horn loaded bass sounds good. It sounds like it gets down to 20Hz. Not bad for a 4in driver. Sorry about my last purchase when the power supply started crapping out.

6 months from purchasing. It quit working.

First unit received had a defective cd sensor … it would not recognize that a cd had been loaded. Exchanged the unit for a replacement, which works fine. Sound quality is quite good for a relatively low-priced cd player.
