I literally did this less than an hour ago, after having the pack for 3 weeks but still being unsure if I should try dying my hair. For a first timer the experience has been prerty fun to be honest :)I did the small test patch on my skin for 48 hours as recommended and didn't notice any problems so decided to go for it today. I wasn't too sure if the gel in the colour tube was distributing properly as it was parts cream frothy and part dark brown, but I applied it as said and then gave me hair a quick rub to make sure it was distributed properly.... For first timers make sure you 'frame' where your hair ends with vaseline and put vaseline over your ears to stop any dye stainingI was suprised at how quickly the dye worked. It IS darker than expected - I went for dark brown but it's more of a black with a brown tinge to it - but I had read after buying that dyes can show darker than expected so I guess that's fair, and I did leave it on a few minutes extra so that might have played some part. I have really like this experience though :)!It's covered very well and evenly I think. I don't have long hair but for short hair use there's definitely another round (maybe two?) in this tube so you'll get your monies worth from it

I’ve been using this product for around a year. It’s very cost effective because you only use what you need. I get around 4 applications from each packApply some barrier cream around ears etcSquirt a blob of each tube onto palm of gloved hand. No need to mix and no need for comb suppliedRub it all in. Wash off 5 minutes later. Job done.Usually lasts 3 to 5 weeks

Bought this to replace just for men colour which has gone quite expensive now.Its quick and gives a good coverageI will definitely buy more in the future.

There is a much larger amount of colourant ( colour &developer) for less money that many other brands I have found, which is great if you have a longer hairstyle as I have . One piece of advice I would offer in regard to actually applying this product is to mix the entire amount of both the 2 tubes of product together and mix it in a small container or small bowl. This is far better I have found than keep squeezing the colour and developer onto the enclosed black comb and then applying it though the hair ( as advised on instruction leaflet). Its time consuming and messy ( I found that out the first time I used it ! ) so now I just scoop the comb into the already mixed product and apply to my hair. Its great and you can apply it quicker so keeping in the time limit ( ie leave it on too long and it will be much darker, which isnt good )

First time tried this product applied well but be careful it stains your skin and i had to rub hard with a sponge to get it off!Although this product covered well i had bought light Brown colour its more like Black in colour not light Brown at all. Perhaps it will lighten after a couple of days but i doubt it.

Easy to use

This product is great. It comes with an applicator to allow you to easily apply it without touching your skin and staining it. Far less mess as the two chemicals are mixed on the applicator. Also cheaper than many alternatives. Coverage is very good and the colour is natural.
