The TYMO Straightener Brush with a high temperature of 450 degrees is what I purchased. I purchased this item in anticipation of trying something new. I got a short hair cut that left the hair a little longer on the top, short on the sides and very short in the back. My hair is natural. Prior to the haircut I would wash my hair, roll it and sit under the dryer. With the new hair cut my hair is too short to use rollers. I have a hot comb. If I used it in the back I would burn myself. So my purchase of the TYMO Brush was perfect. I swipe it two to four times and the hair in the back and sides are straight. I also would like to say I put the brush right on my scalp and it is not hot nor does it burn my scalp. Overall, this is a good brush for the price point and it has a lot of nice features. It heats up well, the temperature settings are easy to use, and it feels like a quality product overall. For me personally though, I have very thick and long hair, and I felt like the shorter teeth on this brush just did not grab and pull my hair through the way my L’ange brush does. Because of that, it did not smooth and straighten my hair as effectively and I found myself going over sections multiple times. I do think this would work really well for someone with finer or thinner hair because the brush itself is lightweight and easy to handle.
