Fantastic
Was buying allegedly Kashmir chilli powder from a certain supermarket chain and always had my suspicions regarding it's authenticity. So I decided to do some research and chose this one. Now it's said to be mild which may well be the case if you were brought up eating spicy food from a young age, but it's hot enough for this Northern European I can tell you. It also has it's own distinctive taste which is good in chillies as well.

The Missing Ingredient
If you've ever cooked a curry from a recipe book and been left to wonder just why your dish is lacking the deep red/orange tones that the photos promised you, well, this is what you are lacking. Kashmiri Chili provides the deep red colouring from all your favourite dishes, accompanied by a mild spiciness. Those who like things a little hotter would be best advised to add something with more heat as well, but if mild is your thing, this will work perfectly.

Yes! This is the stuff
This is so great. If your recipe calls for mirch - use it! I know there is a temptation to just sub it with some normal chili powder but you will not be disappointing getting the real stuff. Adds a real depth of flavor and color to any dish - amazing.

Mild, flavoursome and rich in colour
Great Kashmiri Chilli powder. I love the colour. It is milder and flavoursome than the regular chilli powder. I use it for my cooking everyday. Trivia - Kashmiri chillier have nothing to do with Kashmir. They are not necessarily grown in Kashmir.
