WD_BLACK C50 1TB Expansion Card for Xbox

Brilliant little product. Fits easily in your pocket so if you set the card up to be used in multiple machines you can plug into a friend’s Xbox and off you go. It was so simple to use, plug it in, turn the Xbox on and it’s there, no faf, no formatting, nothing, and took seconds to transfer some big games over. Once over it acts like the internal drive, from home select the game you want to play and if it’s on the expansion card it just loads up as if on the internal drive, and no noticeable delay. My only negative…. I wish I’d bought the 2TB AS THIS IS GREAT.

Game changer for Xbox Series X users! I finally justified the purchase, after a while of wondering if I would get full use from it. And boy have I! While it may seem a little pricey, this plug and play card opens up your Xbox experience completely, meaning no more deleting bulky games for others, and constantly waiting to redownload games. There’s no drop in gaming quality whatsoever, and it’s small design means you wouldn’t even know it was there.

Awesome little hard drive, that I was amazed with how tiny this actually is, its so quite and fast and well worth the prize to increase my xbox storage but without having to worry about weather I have to move the games back to the main drive to play them like many of the other hard drives for xbox. It allows me to have more space and if I want to play xbox series x enhanced games I can just start them from the drive. It works well but can heat up, so be careful if you unplug it after a gaming session to use in another xbox, oh and on that note just make sure its plugged in all the way as it'll still show as recognised but won't allow you to play from it if its only plugged in a little, I found this whilst moving oblivion to my wife's console to save downloading it again.

This is a great investment if you need more space for your games etc. Ok it on the high price size but well worth it as it performs 100% straight out of the box, no formatting or anything. I paid £133 for mine but in the box was a code that gave me 2 months of Ultimate game pass, now this costs £22.99 a month so straight away you have saved £45.98 and got a great piece of kit what more can you want

I bought the WD_BLACK C50 2TB Game Drive for Xbox Series X|S, Officially Licensed memory expansion 2TB card because it acts like the Series X onboard memory in speed and as described native architecture. From my use so far it has performed as well as I expected and much better than my other 2TB external drive. Compatibility, Installation, and Fit size as well as easy formatting made the perfect choice but as the unit is largely unseen appearance was of no consequence. All in all a great piece of upgrade kit for the XBOX series range.

No extra wires cluttering the setup, no external drive sitting beside the console — just a clean, integrated solution that feels like it was built with the Xbox in mind from the start. Overall, if you want the easiest and most hassle-free way to expand Xbox Series X|S storage, the WD_BLACK C50 is absolutely worth it. It delivers exactly what Xbox owners actually need: simple setup, full-speed performance, and the freedom to play games directly from the expansion card without constantly managing storage.

Great! Works just like internal storage, really easy to set up: make sure console is off, plug it in, turn consol on. Also I was also able to use the 1 month ultimate game pass that came free, even though it expired in 2025, I let my previous subscription lapse in order to use this.
