Theres BRS ULTRALIGHT......AND THERE'S LONG LASTING QUALITY. BUY QUALITY !!!!
Like most I have chased grams for light backpacking. One place never to skimp is on the STOVE. It's your only primary item that gives use, ease, and a thankful end to the day. Like many I bought lite & cheap untill one evening my stove stopped working. That happened more than once with the BRS. For the extra grams this is a SUPER HIGH QUALITY STOVE....and if the igniter is to much weight...take it off. If the igniter quits (which I doubt with care) so what your BRS didn't have an igniter anyways, so use your lighter as you always did. THIS IS TOP SHELF, great flame spread, can be used in low low simmer, or cranked to full throttle. A great range in flame control with this one.BRS, MSR move over to the shelf......this is THE STOVE TO BUY !!!!!

Best backpacking stove made.
This is hands down the best backpacking stove made. It was marketed in the US before as the Brunton Raptor. It works equally well with all sizes of cookware. This has been our ultralight backpacking stove for several years now. We tried all the other stoves like the snow peak and micro rockets but this beats them all.

The Brunton Raptor redux
This appears to be exactly the same as my beloved Brunton stove, long discontinued but sometimes available used on ebay. This will make my shopping much easier.

Weighs 6.5 ounces with the carrying case
Got this stove today. It weighs 5.5 ounces not 2.3 as they claim. If you are an ultra light backpacker stay away from this stop. 5.5 does not even include the case which is very heavy at an additional ounce. Considering how heavy it is I will not be trying it. Back it goes.

Super Kocher!
Habe den Kocher bisher 3 Wochen täglich verwendet und bin sehr zufrieden. Er hat ordentlich Power und kocht das Wasser recht schnell auf.Das Packmaß ist natürlich genial und in der mitgelieferten Tasche ist er vor Beschädigungen geschützt.1-2 Tage hat die Piezo zündung mal ausgesetzt, da der Kocher nass geworden ist. Mittlerweise funktioniert sie aber wieder ohne Probleme.Von mir gibt es eine klare Kaufempfehlung!
