I am a school-based Occupational Therapist and *LOVE* these Handiwriter pencil grips! You can DIY (putting a pom-pom under the ring/pinky fingers), but these keep those little items attached to prevent getting lost. The small slip at the top helps hold the pencil into the web space, instead of letting kids point them away. Grips should really only be used to train the hand muscles to work, and these help kids focus on what they're writing while this process occurs. These are high-quality materials, and my students LOVE having animal or sports ball options to have a custom tool to use. I will definitely be back for more!

So this pencil holder is amazing for kids whom are even handed left handed and even right handed this has help my baby while vpk class learn how hold they pencils I surely recommend 10/10

I bought these for my son who is now in the 3rd grade and still struggles to hold his pencil correctly. This product is great, however my son did not like using it because he did not like that it went around his wrist and complained that it was uncomfortable for him. Because of the nature of the product I would still recommend that you try it because the experience may be different for your child than it was for mine. Luckily there are other options for products like this one, so we will have to try a different one for my son. But this one is still a great option.
