DERMAdoctor KP Moisturizing Lotion, Keratosis Pilaris Body Cream, 8 oz

I have been using this for years. It got rid of the bumps/rough skin on my legs and arms. I have the smoothest skin I have ever had thanks to this product.

I've been using this product for almost a month now. so far, so good.

I have tried it for a couple of days. I can’t tell the difference just yet. What I’ve felt is that it gives me a burning sensation on each application.

I have used this product for years! It just keeps getting better! I barely need it anymore! It gives a silky smooth appearance after just one month. The smell isn’t great but I don’t mind! And it’s a little sticky at first (a little goes a long way)! I wish this had been around when I had to bare my arms in my cheer uniform when I was a teen!

The formula has changed, but there is no mention of this on the listing. The new formula is less effective and smells bad. Why on earth would you change the formula that had been available for years to something exponentially worse?!

This gets rid of redness right away after using. Still have bumps but they are softer after using.

The lotion is very lightweight, making it easy to rub in. I can feel and see the hydration in my skin. Once applied it does feel a bit sticky, *I think that’s because of the urea, i have experienced the same thing with other lotions that have urea. I have high hopes for this lotion, hopefully it fades my strawberry skin.

Super stinky - texture is really thick and makes your skin feel slightly sticky afterwards. I can’t really handle the smell of it and wish I had tried it before the return window closed. I’m going to go back to using the AprilSkin products I used previously instead of this.

I can’t believe it worked on the back of my arms. The first time in years it’s smooth.

You need to use consistently — I applied after showering, everyday for about 4-6 weeks before I noticed real results, but this has done wonders for the KP on the back of my arms (also combined with a physical body scrub in the shower a few times per week). Doesn’t smell great, sort of like glue or something! And is a bit of a weird texture and you really have to work to rub it in (absorbs better if applied after a shower and over a light layer of another moisturiser) but is totally worth it for the results

Smells bad, feels irritating on the skin

I didn’t care much for the scent of this lotion or how long it took to absorb into my skin. Because of that, I found myself using it less often than recommended, which may be why I didn’t notice much improvement. It might work better with more consistent use, but personally, the texture and smell were enough to make it hard to stick with. Just something to keep in mind if you’re sensitive to those factors.
