I used to find upkeep for my cast-iron to be such a chore. Food gets stuck. So I boil some water in it to loosen the debris. Wait for it to cool down. Vigorously scrub with sea salt and a cloth. Then scrub with cloth under hot water until the pan was free of food particles or my skin started feeling like it was experiencing third-degree burns.But THIS KIT! What a lifesaver AND time-saver. After cooking, I rinse pan under some warm water while using the chainmail mesh to safely scrub away the stuck-on particles. I then wipe dry with the included towel. That's it! My clean-up time has been cut down by 90%. Most importantly, I have developed a nicer seasoning coat on my skillet over the past several weeks then I ever did in the past several years of babying the skillet. So I RECOMMEND purchasing this productTo be extra helpful, I would like to address the specifics in the current product description:-1 x 7"x7" Cast Iron -> The seller means CHAINMAIL. There is no cast iron skillet included in this bundle.-2 x Durable Grill Pan Scrapers (Red + Black)set --> I do not own a grill so cannot verify if these are effective-2 x Durable Pan Scrapers (Red + Black) --> These do mold quite well to the pan, but I generally only use the chainmail for scrubbing-1 x 5.7" Silicone Hot Handle Holder (Red): Snug for a 10" pan handle, so it's difficult to put on and remove when the pan is hot. I also have been too scared to leave it on the handle while pan is in the oven, so I cannot verify if it is oven-safe. But for general use on the stove top, it protects the hand against the heat of the skillet-2 x hanging hook --> These are very secure and stick well to wood cabinet. I am using both, one to hand the towel and one to hang the chainmail1 x Kitchen Towel(Random Color): This towel endlessly pilled the first several weeks I used it and sometimes it smears the moisture around. I think it is microfiber. Anyways, after a few rounds in the laundry, it no longer pills.

Do you cook with a cast iron? If you answered "yes" to that question, then YES you need to purchase this. I don't use the plastic scrappers at all, but the chain-mail like scraper is a must. It makes cleaning a cast iron SO MUCH EASIER! And to clean the scrapper, I just wash it with dish soap and hang it to dry. Sometimes I'll soak it in a glass of soapy water too. It cuts down the grease, caked on burnt pieces, and make simple cleans even easier. And the handle heat protector! I don't know how I cooked without it. But always remember to remove before putting in the oven! Great value - worth every penny! I've had mine for over a year now and it is no where near needing to be replaced.

I really like this set to use when I clean my cast iron cookware. I like the plastic scrapers to help get the grease out of the pans, just make sure that the pans have cooled all the way off before using. I thought one of my pans was cool enough and when I went to scrap it, the plastic kinda melted a little. Thank goodness there are several in this kit.I also love the metal scrub pad. I didn't think that it would be useful, but there have been times I have really burnt something (especially when I first started to learn how to cook using cast iron) and this has been a blessing to have to get the burnt food off.I think that this was a really good deal for the money and would recommend.

Great product for cast iron pan cleaning - Heads up, don't use too much force in cleaning. With a little warm water on the surface, it doesn't take much to remove stuck-on food. If you overdue, I think you may remove the natural aged 'patina' on your pan.

This has come to be much more used than I has imagined. I use the chain not only on my cast iron, but on any stainless or aluminum pot, pan, or baking sheet I have. This handy little tool definitely cuts cleaning time.As for the little plastic scrapers, I didn't think I would use them at all. These help so much, I hold the pan over the garbage and these little tools get most, if not all food out of the pan.I have found these to be of good quality and have been using them often for the better part of a year.

Bargain for the $. Everything but the handle cover is super and even it's made nicely. The problem is it gets HOT to the touch. Real hot. I put the pan and handle in the oven and couldn't touch it at all. Maybe that's wrong was I meant to leave it off while in the oven? Don't know but everything else was very nice.

I received this product and was surprised at the low quality. First of all who needs a towel and hooks to hang? Seller is trying to bulk the items to make it look like it is a good buy. Then the heat handle thing transmits the heat and you can get burned. So why even include one. Then the scrapers are of low quality and too many. They went out the trash as who needs more low quality worthless items to store. Do yourself a favor and get good quality material for your cast iron investment. The metal cleaner is the only thing worth investing on.

The chainmail will scratch stainless steel and it may 'scratch' your seasoning on your cast iron. A chainmail is supposed to work safely on stainless steel- though the listing DOESN'T suggest that this one does. I was disappointed to find it scratched my stainless instant pot and camp cook set. Everything else was kind of 'meh', the silicone grip doesn't fit great and you can feel heat through it. Quantity over quality. Would've rather bought a chainmail with a silicone sponge inside...

Don’t buy, you’ll burn yourself. I have a handle (from another seller) at home and it works fine, I wanted another one, so I bought that one and burned my hand. Yes, it fits, but it’s not working as it should.

The best cleaning scrub on the market for cleaning cast iron pots, pans and frying pans. This is the second one I have purchased and well worth the money. Extremely pleased
