Best mic for this kind of headset
This headset has the best mic out for a gaming headset out there. Many have cheaper mics that are not as sensitive, but this one is great. This version is for MMCX headphones like the Shure 215's which work great in this use. There is an adapter that allows this headset to be used as a USB-C headset with computers and iPhone

Decent sound w/out DAC, but occasional static
I got this cable to replace using a separate lav mic for gaming and video conferencing. The mic seems to pick up well without being too sensitive and it sends a decent signal to my IEM's without using a DAC. The only audio issue I've had is I hear occasional static when moving the cable; standing up from my desk to get something nearby, for example. I think it's something to do with the 2-1 adapter rather than the wiring. But as long as I'm seated at my desk the sound quality is great. The memory wire in the hooks was a little awkward to shape at first, but after that the fit is fantastic for me. I also love this cable comes with a shirt clip already attached to prevent pulling. Overall it works for what it's intended, but it's not what I'll be using for music. I'll switch back to my better cables for that.

Mic sounds great. Cable is terrible.
I really wish they would revise this product. The mic sounds fantastic, but the cable is unbearable. It is unnecessarily stiff around the ear hooks and the microphonics on the cable makes it sound like someone is tapping on a stethoscope while it's inserted in your ear. If they can implement a cable like on the kinera gramr pros, these would be a home run. Until then, I will stick with the worst quality microphone on the Kinera gramr pros over these because I value comfort above mic quality.

Does what it is supposed to. Good quality mic. Earhooks aren't the best.
The earhooks are the biggest letdown for the product. It will work for my needs, but at $60 it is a letdown to have such an integral part of the product not be correct. Antlion should take a note from most other cable offerings such as those from the tripowin or Fiio lines. Their hooks sit better on the ears without forcing the cable or IEM into weird positions. Which is exactly what this cable does due to how stout it is.Everything else is pretty good. My only other suggestion is to add a plosive filter as the cost would justify having additional attachments. At $40 this product would be 4 stars as is, but for $60 it lacks a lot of refinement and I can only give it 3.

Perfect for production comms & editing videos!
I created an xlr female 4-pin connector for the end and use it as a production communications headset, and it works perfectly as intended! The microphone picks up everything I say! I’ve learned to speak softer on comms because it comes though very clearly and loud. It’s a lightweight condenser mic that is much more comfortable to wear than any other headset i’ve tried!!

"Strain relief" strains cables!
These would be fantastic if the plastic that forms the strain relief at the transition from the slender cables was more flexible. I am on my second set of these after a warranty replacement. The microphone & earphones combining to one 1/8" headphone plug is very bulky and easily bends its plug if you use it with a phone or Bluetooth DAC like I do, a third party replacement is a requirement.

Good mic, great cable overall
This is exactly what I've been looking for. I was tired of getting "headset hair" from wearing a headset plus my IEMs sound better, so this was the perfect solution for that. The cable itself is rubberized and I personally find you don't hear it much when moving or if it rubs on your clothes. The microphone itself is fairly good. It comparable to some other higher end gaming headset mics, although it'll still be beat by standalone microphones or professional grade ones. It's miles ahead of lapel/in-cable microphones, though. My only complaint is it doesn't come with a foam/windscreen over the mic, so depending on the positioning of the mic it's possible you'll breath into it while talking and make a loud noise to others.

Monitor audio transmits to microphone
Unfortunately this is kind of a product-breaking issue- my IEMs feedback into the microphone, and that makes this product basically useless as a communication tool, and the mic isn't good enough to be a recording tool.I replaced an Antlion Modmic with this and I am pretty disappointed- the modmic was a much higher quality mic, and I didn't have to worry about it getting feedback from my IEMs.
