Review: Feature rich and great looking radio. A rare combo... - The controls can be a little confusing. The hardest part was to set the clock and backlighting function to always on. Has a decent size screen though. I just wish they would make a decent size table radio like this with all these functions. This radio does sound okay but with a bigger speaker would likely sound even better. Lots of bands and choices. I just wish the keys to operate it were bigger, and easier to read. Most keys are multi-function so there are two things printed on each key. I was pleasantly surprised with SW reception in my area. Am and FM stations in my area are few and far between. I can't receive any WB broadcasts but there is a line-of-sight issue where I live. I'm in a valley between two mountains. No hits there...I may set up an external antenna over my roof in the near future. I'm not done trying yet. And BTW, this antenna is the skinniest antenna I have ever seen. The smallest section is like a thin piece of wire, and I do mean thin. I would change that if I could. Extensive use has already made it loosen a little. Good thing, because one good push down and you're going to have a bent antenna. I haven't used the recording function and I likely won't, but it is nice to have. The cell phone app needs device location permission upon install. I don't know why that is... Seems unnecessary. I have other radios that don't need it, so...I don't know if they sell that info...would be nice to know. But the buttons are bigger on my android phone. So, we have that. The USB also functions as data transfer for the TF card. It also serves as a charger, and PC audio. Thats a new one on me. The screen shows antenna signal strength. I like that! Bluetooth works but didn't keep signal on several occasions for me. This was in close proximity to each other. I don't use BT too often. Other reviewers say theirs worked fine. So... Overall, this is a decent radio. The RGB lighting is subtle and low key. Thats nice too. The volume goes loud. The rear base speaker works okay. Bigger sound from a small radio. I imagine that battery life drains faster at a high level. Good to use as an outside radio. Talk radio and music play well here. Good Job Raddy....two thumbs up here!

**Q: Is this waterproff ?**
A: No

**Q: does it stream to bluetooth headphones?**
A: AFAIK it doesn't, but I haven't tried it so I'm not certain. However, the manual doesn't mention it, whereas it mentions connecting a bluetooth device to play (receive on the radio) with next/previous track selection. It's a little odd there's no transmit, since it has bi-directional bluetooth for the Radio-C App communication. Also, I don't know whether bluetooth play/receive mode and App control are mutually exclusive: if receiving audio, can the App still control the radio. I haven't had a chance to use mine yet (waiting for a suitable Android device to use the Radio-C app,) so apologies for not being much help.

**Q: Does it operate while charging Or while plugged in without the battery?**
A: Yes, it works while plugged in. I have never used it without the battery.

**Q: Does the RF320 include NOAA weather alert function?**
A: No

Very useful, fun, rad radio! Sounds amazing for its size. Holds charge for a long time. Great for playing BT or sd card music playlists. The headphone and line out jack is in stereo. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Picked up the Raddy RF320 today… and this thing took me on an emotional roller coaster.

picked up the Raddy RF320 expecting a fun little gadget and this thing took me on a full ride from excitement to doubt and right back to excitement again. When it arrived I loved the presentation. The box looked great and the accessories were a nice touch. The radio itself looks fantastic with a retro tactical style that really stands out. My only letdown at first was the feel of the plastic and the tiny antenna. It gave me a toy like first impression and I was not sure what to expect. That changed as soon as I powered it on. The LED equalizer swept across the top of the screen and instantly brought back memories of playing with my grandfathers radios. Then the speaker surprised me with sound that is crisp, clear, and way louder than something this small should produce. It has a warm tone that is easy to listen to. Tuning it brought some nostalgia too, but the knobs are very sensitive. If this was hanging from a sling or bouncing around outdoors you could easily skip past stations. I would not take this on a rough hike or expect it to survive a bad drop. It is definitely more of a home or desk radio. The part that truly impressed me was the reception. On every band I pulled in more stations than any of my other small radios. Shortwave performance especially caught me off guard. Air band worked right away and FM sounded great. The included app is a huge bonus and makes tuning and exploring very smooth. Here is the simple truth. I did not want to like this radio at first. But after actually using it, it won me over. It has charm. It has personality. It has features that are fun to explore. No it is not rugged and no it is not built for the mountains, but as a desk radio or nightstand radio it is excellent. Even with the shortcomings I would still recommend it. The flaws feel like areas for improvement rather than deal breakers. If Raddy ever releases a more rugged upgraded version, I will be first in line to buy it.
