We would leave this 10 stars if we could. This is a very high quality product - we love the wood, the color, the feel, and the look. The product came weeks in advance and was packaged with care and thought. We put it on the living room wall as the accent piece. The instructions were intuitive, but a little vague. Though we got the XL and followed the XL dimension instructions, the Americas were a little too far away from the "Old World." Instead, we thought of other creative ways to fill the void and it looks great. It just looks homey, quality, fresh, awesome, classy, and makes the living room space look bigger. If you are wondering between a larger or smaller size, definitely do larger.The tape behind it was a little difficult to separate, but holds on perfectly to the wall - so much that's nearly impossible to take off. Kids had a great time doing it - took about 2 hours for the whole project. If there's anything to complain about, it would be that for perfectionists, the directions could have more detail to ensure the spacing of the continents and islands are accurate. But overall, you can't really tell and it looks so good, no one will care!

Really like this piece! I'm one of the many who's stuck in a seemingly endless world of work-from-home and multiple video calls each day, so I was looking for something that would add a bit of character to the wall behind my desk. Really like the look of this piece - well made, great wood design, and it's just fun! I've gotten a number of comments from folks who see it in the background and really like it!Also was fun to put together. The included map/guide didn't have all the islands labeled, but that was easy enough using an online map to double-check where everything went. OK, it's not perfectly to scale (some of the islands are way too big) but that's not why I wanted it! Very happy with the purchase and would definitely consider getting something else from the seller in the future to put in another room.

I've had this empty space on my living room wall for years. Kept looking for the right thing to put there. Didn't want just another square painting or something. But this wooden world map called to me. So I got it. The seller sent an email about shipping being slow cuz of the pandemic but I had added expedited shipping and it got here so fast that it bypassed the Amazon tracking system! I couldn't start on it right away because I had just cut my nails down, but that wasn't this company's fault, all sticky-tape manufacturers should have a warning and disclaimer on their labels about this problem! I had no problems putting it up, used Google maps a couple of times to check on placement, the only bad moment was when my cat thought the Maldives was a tasty little insect and tried to eat it. As it went up piece by piece I fell more and more in love with it. (I painted the little planes and ships myself for a giggle - there places I want to go- from my bucket list). I did this by myself, just me and my cat, but I can see that it would be a terrific family project too. The craft and care taken by this company is exceptional.

Exceeded our expectations in every way!!! We purchased the XXL for our living room and it looks amazing! It looks so beautiful that I just ordered a smaller, more detailed one, for my basement bar.The wood and craftsmanship screams quality! The tape is true 3M and works very well. We were worried about packaging coming from across the world, but it arrived perfectly!The price can creep up with options, but for a comparable sized wall painting or covering, the cost is actually more than reasonable.

Arrived ahead of schedule, about two weeks after placing the order. I'd thought the styrofoam templates were for placing the pieces on the wall in order to get everything just right. But no, you've got to do it by hand. Like others, though, I kinda dug the challenge of testing my geographic knowledge in conjunction with the included guide. It was challenging to get the overall proportion and centering right (and it didn't get it precisely), especially because I wanted a Pacific-centered map. But couldn't be happier with the result. I got the airplane pushpins included...love them but there aren't holes for every country (eh, Canada?), which seemed odd. Overall, well designed and made, complete, and a fun project. Highly recommended.

The finished product looks AMAZING. It will take a long time to install in order to get everything lines up correctly. Be VERY patient.

It was easy and fun to put together, Love it!

We ordered the XXL size (118”) for a wall in an apartment. We needed to find something lightweight so we could stick it to the wall rather than use hanging hardware. It arrived quickly (far earlier than anticipated) and is beautiful and well crafted. The templates for putting it up are brilliant actually. We had a great time installing it. I can highly recommend this. *We ordered the red finish.*

Amazing product! Perfect quality and arrived in decent amount of time. Looks great on our greenery wall. It was so much fun putting the pieces together like a puzzle.

We ordered this to fill the large space above our front door and the window. It came quickly and my husband and I can't stop commenting on how amazing it looks. Packaged well and straight forward to put up. The flag pins are a great addition.

Great project...takes much longer than and hour or 2 but well worth it. The hardest part is getting the tape backing off...hint: use you nail to press it firmly to the wood then scratch the tape...comes off way esier this way. Love it!
