The lens is a great value. Of course, for this money, it's not the best lens out there, but it seems to be very sharp overall, with just a tiny bit of softness and vignette in the corners at wide open. Once it's stopped down a couple of stops, it produces great images edge to edge. It's made of plastic but it seems well made nonetheless. Very light to carry around. I'm not a pro, so for this money, I'm really happy with this lens. No regrets at all.

A great all purpose lens with a 35mm equivalent field of view. Bought this to pair with a Z50 and it stays on it all the time. Very sharp, minimal distortion, fast to focus. Given its very light weight, I pickup this on Z50 over the Z8 with 35.18s for most family gatherings. For APSC Nikon Z mount cameras this is best lens for all purpose photography. Combine this with a 40 f2, for best travel kit all around across brands imho.

Bought this as a travel set up for my Nikon Z50II. I’ve tested it out in NYC so far and plan to bring it as the only lens in my carry on to Ireland. I’m not an expert photographer and usually shoot on aperture priority - still lots to learn, but with editing the photos so far are great for my purposes (street photography, travel, portraits)

I am enjoying using this lens. It performs very well. I love both the size and price. This is another winner for the Nikon's APSC Z-mount line of lenses.

This lens an affordable and produces beautiful photos. I’m still in the learning process of photography so I’m not an expert, but I love its size, weight, and picture quality.

Did not like this lens at all and I believe the f1.7 does not represent the real specs for this lens. Numerous side-by-side comparisons with similar f stop lenses and this was the worst performance of the 3. Had to return and can’t recommend this lens. However, I do like the 12-28 power zoom Nikon lens.

I bought this lens for my Nikon Z30 in the hope of having a small, pocket-sized point and shoot for travel and this lens accomplishes that perfectly! On a crop sensor camera like the Z30 and Z50 this 24mm lens has the focal equivalent of a 35mm which is wide enough to capture a scene without causing distortion in the image

Love the 24mm f/1.7! Picture quality is phenomenal, bokeh is great as seen in the 2nd photo. Very good in low light situations, and is my go to for any indoor photos. Autofocus is quick, sharp, I have no complaints, even the plastic mount feels very sturdy (made the switch to Nikon from Canon). Pictures shot on the Nikon Z30!
